4 of 5 Easy to Install Friday, April 17, 2009 Tom from Silver Spring,Md.
I bought this antenna because of it's low profile and multiple mounting options. I'm using it in rural Virginia where the closest station is 65 - 70 miles away and am happy to say I can now pull in about 6 channels with it mounted in the attic.I tried an omni-directional before this and was very disappointed. You must take your time aiming it as it's very directional. I never expected this small of an antenna to work where I'm at. I live a good 40-55 miles from all of the local network's towers. I discovered how well it would work by mistake. I had the Terk HDTVi indoor antenna, and hooked it up to my laptop as an experiment. It picked up a couple of stations inside my house that I didn't think I could get w/o a roof mounted boom antenna. I purchased the HDTVO, and found I could get all stations at or near 100% signal mounted INSIDE my house. (I mounted in a second story stairwell!) I was truly amazed and will be shutting off my $80 satellite service very soon. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 If it sounds to good to be true Sunday, November 23, 2008 A Customer from Sheffield,Iowa
I have a 12 year old beat up antenna, good reception with it. Thought getting this Terk antenna would make it even better. Was I wrong. Can't even pick up local station 20 miles away. Don't waste your time. Put the amplifier on a regular antenna and get great pictures. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Just what I needed Tuesday, June 10, 2008 A Customer from Erie, PA
I subscribe to DirecTV, but unfortunately can't get the standard affiliates (FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS) through them, so my only other option is over-the-air. I installed this antenna in my attic, plugged the amplifier into an outlet, and pointed it towards the station towers (3 of the 4 are in the same general direction, all about 5 miles away). I now receive all my local channels in analog and digital broadcasts. The analog look fuzzy and have the ghost effect, but the digital channels look great on an HDTV. Not quite HD quality, but still good enough to watch. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Antenna, easy to install Thursday, November 29, 2007 A Customer from Salt Lake City, UT
Oveall the antenna works great. I get great picture and sound. I installed the antenna in my attic as I didn't want to see it on the outside of the home. This did cause a little loss in signal strength, but has not affected performance for the channels I care about. On one channel the sound will occasionally not track with the video. The problem does go away when I have a stronger signal. However, I believe there is a problem with the local broadcast tower or something, as the problem will sometimes occur even with full signal strength. Was this review helpful?

This little antenna is a real gem. We live far from the broadcast towers in the middle of the woods but this antenna brings in signals crystal clear. We get HD broadcasts we did not know even existed. It is directional, so you have to point it in the precise direction to get the best reception. Therefore, this is the second one we purchased and hooked two together on the same mast with a diplexer. Each points to different directions. There is no need for satellite or cable when you can get HD broadcasts over the air for free. Naturally, your TV needs to have an HD receiver. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This antenna works great Sunday, November 25, 2007 markj49 from Modesto, CA
I purchased this antenna as my satellite service did not provide some local channel programming in HD. I live 90 miles away from Sacramento and I am able to obtain all the stations signals in near full strength; even having mounted it in the rafters of my garage. The unit is solidly built and easy to install. I would have been pleased spending twice as much. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Use as directed Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Erich from Princeville IL
The antenna was more directionally sensitive than I expected; 10 degrees can make or break the picture quality. So I can't clearly bring in all stations without having to adjust the antenna some.
When I first hooked it up I had it inside my garage, but this did not work well at all. Picture quality was terrible, and having the cars inside or outside would cause varying static and shadows. But, I can't complain about this because it clearly says "OUTDOOR."
Overall it works well, but I wonder if other models might be better. Was this review helpful?

I had read a lot of mixed reviews on this antenna. But ultimatley decided to give it a try since it seemed to be the one that fit my needs the best. First off, you do have to install and plug-in and turn on the amplifier that comes with it. Beyond that, very easy to install. AnntenaWeb showed me to be between 46 - 50 miles from the antenna. Used a compass to point it the right direction based on the information from antennaweb. Now i pick up all the local channels crystal clear, even pick up some additional channels i had never seen before. I am even picking a station 45 miles away in the opposite direction in which the antenna is pointed. Even my wife is excited with then new picture quality. Any one who tells you this anntenna does not work, did not install it correctly. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Excellent Product for HD Channels Tuesday, December 19, 2006 A happy user from Akron ,OHIO
I am very very happy on this product. I can receive about 30 HDTV channels now with this antenna. The channels are as clear as crystal. It is very easy to install. It also works very well indoor. Because it is CAE color code is blue, the channels 3, 5, 8 are also excellent. Was this review helpful?

I live in Columbia, MO and have tried many different "inside" amplified antennas. None of them worked consistently or pulled in all stations. I decided to give this one a try, even though it would not allow me to get ABC (listed in the violet area on the CEA web site). I installed this antenna in my attic and I ran it's own wire down to the TV. I could have used a diplexor, but didn't want to lose any of the signal. I then turned things on and all the stations (even ABC) came in perfectly! The installation was extremely easy and it works well in my area. If you can install an antenna in your attic and have most of your stations grouped together in one direction, I would definitely recommend this antenna. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Antenna for my area. Monday, September 25, 2006 Martin from Winchester Kentucky
Pros:
I purchased the Terk HDTV0 antenna with an antenna rotator and placed them on an outside eve pole mount, I live in Winchester Kentucky under 40 miles from all the station sources that I receive from the Lexington Kentucky area.
I discovered after the installation that I probably could have done without the antenna rotator since I receive all stations at about the 300-320 degree angle, range. We have both UHF and VHF signals in this area, and this Terk HDTV0 antenna does a great job.
I have a 40” Sony High Definition television so I tuned strictly to the digital channels and received 18 brilliant channels for my effort. I have noticed that I get a few dropped pixels during bad weather, pinpointing the antenna will correct this.
Cons:
I only have one complaint that I would offer for this review, and that would be the antenna doesn’t pull in the analog signals as clear as the digital, but this could be expected and was not a issue since I tuned strictly to the digital channels.
