SUPER easy installation - I even used existing 12v transmitter plug because the power was hard to get to. Had a "cheaper" set - they sounded cheaper. You can use two speakers off the one transmitter. I walked all the way to my back fence and still had great sound - through CBS construction. I Like the fact you can use rechargable batteries AND it charges them! No disappointment here. I bought 2 speakers (each comes with a transmitter) and both will operate from one transmitter, so you can connect each transmitter to a different source (i.e. stereo, tv, satellite, etc)and use each one independently. Just plug into the headphone jack, very easy. I have the speakers outside at least 50 ft from the indoor transmitter, through walls, no problem. It claims 250 ft, haven't tried it that far. Adjustable sound, more than loud enough. Love it!

The speaker arrived promptly. It works well on batteries or plugged in (batteries go underneath so you have to unfasten the 4 screws to get to the compartment). The unit has decent range. I plugged it into the audio output of my receiver - so I can listen to CD's outside without opening windows and blasting the stereo any more!

The only thing that would make it better is if it came with rechargable batteries. Sounds great for background music while working or playing outside.

I bought this to use on our back deck/yard, and was tired of cranking up the house stereo to hear music while working/playing in the yard. I have the transmitter hooked up to a line out on my receiver and the speaker about 25 feet away on our deck. It's more than loud enough for our back yard, and while I'm not throwing any huge house parties, the sound quality if great for background music while entertaining or working.

Great Little Speakers. Rechargeable batteries increase portability. Used extensively by our pool last summer. My daughter used them with her I pod. The performance is hindered by low volume out put on transmitting source. Better to turn the volume up on your music source and control the volume with the speaker volume control.

I didn't expect the great sound quality that this speaker delivered. I bought it to send my XM output from my computer to my back patio. It does this very well. The only problem is the speaker output at my computer is muted due to the headphone jack setup. I plan on purchasing a Y headphone adapter to solve this. I would highly recommend this product.

Terrific sound and transmits with ease through a super heavy paned glass. Price and quality so good I bought another...and am looking to possibly buy one more! The color and shape of it are a little weird (reminds us of a humidifier or something), but easily overlooked that after I heard it and used it. Can be used with rechargeable batteries or plugged in. Love it!!

Setting up the AW822 speaker is a breeze. Speaker reception is flawless. Excellent product for the price. Could I ask for more? A treble and bass control would be nice. However,I am very satisfied with the Aw822.

Bought 2 -- set up was VERY easy. Perhaps too easy. . . There is only one knob on the devise - a power / volume knob. Everything else is automatic. Therefore, plug and play at its finest. However, if you have other A/R brand equipment in the house, beware. I turned on my TV and all off a sudden my new outdoor speaker were blaring. I have A/R headphones and they all work on the same frequency range. And there is no way to fine tune the outdoor speakers to only receive the stereo feed. It actually worked out great because I tuned my DirecTV to the XM radio stations and now have satellite radio on my speakers!! Sound is good but pops once in a while. Might be because of that first time I accidentally blasted them from my TV. I will buy 2 more for a total of 4 to get full backyard and patio coverage.

I needed a speaker that would work in our back yard as well as my living room since my family room contains my main sound system. I use it with my computer to send out the signal. The sound is ok, nothing to compare to a regular speaker. Oh yea and one more fun thing. The speakers will pick up sounds from wireless phones and other 900mhz devices when you are not broadcasting sounds. I got my neighbors conversation blasted in my house for a few moments before I was able to unplug the speaker. Which leads me to another issue it is also impossible to shut down the speakers with the off switch. The off button does not work or at least not that i can tell. It is not the best piece of equipment I own but my back yard has sound now, not sure what I could expect from a wireless speaker so I'm satisfied.

Bought two right away. Easy set-up. Less then 5 min. from box to music. Volume/ sound quality depends on input source. I have used them to play from CD players, MP3 players, Radio and my home stereo (Should work from your car stereo if it has a output). Sound great on the deck or by the pool. I have not tried battery operation yet, but plan to use them around the fire pit once the mosquito population subsides. Best Price I could find!

Can't beat the price. Sound is good. Easy to install. Took it out of the box and had it working in less than 5 minutes. Will probably buy a second one.

Have only used this speaker not quite a month yet but am very satisfied with the performance and price (at Buy.com). Will probably get another to make it "stereo" but still performs well individually.

I was hoping I would like this speaker for my deck. I wanted to hook it up to my Mac in the house so I could listen to my iTunes on the deck. I read the other reviews and thought I would try one. It was easy to set up and sounds great. I'm buying a second so I can set up stereo speakers.

I've been looking for an affordable wireless speaker to use both indoors and out. I found this for about $65 and decided to try it. After having to work a little to get the installation done correctly, it is working very well. I had a conflict with the wireless network in my house but selecting a different channel fixed it. I also could not get it to work with the variable sound of the TV so I had to put it on fixed. I have used it both outside on the screened porch and indoors with great success. I may buy another...
