The label's own Mighty Mighty Bosstones contribute their own distinctive high-octane brand of punk ska with "Sugar Free," while from the other side of the continent Blink-182 shows they're still in touch with the scene with their previously unreleased collision of matter and anti-matter "Time to Break Up." Jimmy Eat World's live version of "A Praise Chorus" shows the band at its emocore best, taking the message back to the Brits in London, while Chicago's own Alkaline Trio's "Jaked on Green Beers" follows in the band's triumphal tradition of alcohol-and-perturbation-filled songs such as 2000's "Snake Oil Tanker."
