recieved the speakers the day before we went on vacation to Cancun did everything it said it would and it looks really cool the only down side is that we used it w an mp3 not an IPOD and when locked in the case it made it a little more difficult to change songs plus my mp3 is itty bitty but it didnt really matter we were jammin ne ways it s really cool just wish the sound was a little louder but mab its just me Was this review helpful?

This is a nicely built system, with very loud speakers (good!). The main problem is that it is not set-up for any of the modern-day generations of iPods. The new Nano and the Touch are not easily placed in the waterproof cradle. Seems that it should have been thought through a bit better, Was this review helpful?

Their are not whole lot of water proof I pod docks. In fact this is the only one I could find, so I think it is great. If the quality of your MP3"s is poor then the speakers tend to distort more with heavier bass. it is not that loud, but I got it for very specific reasons: sitting in a hot tub, floating rivers, having music while camping, all things that do not need a lot of volume. don't get me wrong it still puts out some noise but just keep in mind its a small set of speakers. over all I a extremely pleased Was this review helpful?

I love this little box! It is well-made, cool-looking, light, and small. It is very intuitive to use. It has quite decent sound for such a tiny little thing. While it doesn't charge your iPod, it does seem to be able to supply adequate power to run it long after it should have died from its own battery charge, which is just an EXCELLENT perk (for those of us who end up in the middle of a lake only to find we forgot to charge the darn thing ahead of time!). Really like this stereo. All my friends are shocked when I put it in the water! Really easy to use, decent volume and sound for the size and price. Biggest complaint is the fact that if there's any water on the speaker, the sound is almost completely muted. The price seems a bit steep (mostly because I'm on a college-student's budget). I love it! Would definately recommend it, especially poolside. Was this review helpful?

I had been looking at this model for a while buy.com had the right price. The design is similar to my housing for my digital camera and is excellent at protecting my IPOD at the beach and on the boat. The only negative comment I can express is that in the heat at the beach, the internal pressure builds up and the speakers react to the internal pressure. The volume gets lower unless I open the unit enought to "burp" out the extra pressure. Overall, I would still recommend this waterproof case. Was this review helpful?

I had been looking for a waterproof speaker solution for my iPod for some time. Other products offer speakers integrated with an insulated cooler bag or a fold out self contained dock but none are waterproof. The E GO is perfect!
It meets the JIS7 / IPX7 marine electronics standard: It floats and can be submerged to 3 feet for 30 minutes. Although, I suspect it is capable of much more. It has a similar design as my underwater camera housing that is waterproof to 130 feet.
The E GO is exactly what I was looking for and exactly what I expected. They really thought of everything. Was this review helpful?
