The Radeon proved to be a huge improvement over my computer's on-board video. Even at the highest setting, game play on graphic intensive games such as Republic Commando is smooth with realistic 3D. Resolution of digital pictures & video were only slightly improved, though colors are now significantly more vibrant. The Radeon is most impressive with CRT or HD monitors. My LCD monitor does suffer some wash-out during game play with video set at the highest resolution but still looks great at lower video quality settings. The Radeon is a superb choice I would highly recommend. Was this review helpful?

This card made a huge difference in the performance of my daily applications. Programs like Photoshop, Cinema 4D and even Firefox run a lot smoother/faster while looking better. Hooking your monitor up to this card will give your PC new life. Was this review helpful?

Although this PCI card is not an Express bus version, If you are adding a second video monitor to your system so you can run two flat screens side by side and still make use of two VPU's and all of the 256MB memory dedicated to each screen, it is the BEST choice for a mate to the ATI Radeon PCI-e card that comes with most PC's. The refresh rate and screen draw times are excellent as seen side by side with the same 2 SONY flat screens using PhotoShop and the colors are deep and rich.
Easy install with ATI Catalyst and controlling them both is a breeze. Although this card does not have a second DVI connector using it as a dual VGA with another card is the way to go! Was this review helpful?

This item was one of the best buys i've ever made. It was my first time purchasing from buy.com and i'll never regret it. The ATI Radeon 9250 is perfect for gamers who want performance but don't want to spend the big dollars.
