The HDP-R1 also features optical digital audio output for lossless audio transfer to your audio receiver or TV. High Speed Connectivity (eSATA and USB 2.0)

HDP-R1 provides an onboard eSATA (external SATA) port that is 6X faster than USB 2.0 for high speed transfer from your portable hard drives. With an eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port and a dedicated USB 2.0 port, you can store your movies, music and images onto an USB 2.0 hard disk drive or thumbdrive and play it on the O!Play. With the two separate ports, you can access multiple storage spaces simultaneously for your media library.

Advanced LAN Network Support

If you have a home network, the O!Play HDP-R1 makes accessing the content even easier. With an onboard LAN port built into the O!Play, you won’t have to carry around the storage drives from room to room in order to play your newly downloaded content. With high-speed Ethernet connectivity, you can stream contents directly from your PC or network-attached storage (NAS) to the O!Play. The LAN streaming function gives you easy access to your files without needing to carry your storage device from room to room.

O!Play can also bitstream Dolby Digital and DTS Surround audio to your A/V receiver via HTMI RAW or SPDIF RAW mode to bring realism to the next level.
