4.3 of 5 Great Netbook! 6/18/2009
Satisfied from Denver, CO
For my money, this is the best bang for your buck netbook. Right shift key is a little awkward and the whole thing is slightly larger and heavier than I hoped, but with all the features and outstanding battery life, I'll take it. I use this thing constantly and take it everywhere. It does everything I hoped and then some. I immediately installed kubuntu linux and almost never boot into Windows. The generic kubuntu works fine out of the box - don't waste your time and effort with the "special" eeePC kernels - they'll just screw up your updates and the advantages are small and dwindling.

This small computer is a great portable backup. The long battery life is what appealed to me and has not let me down. So far everything has worked great.

5 of 5 Great Netbook with LONG Battery Life 4/14/2009
Robert from Chicago, IL
This is basically a laptop computer in a smaller package with phenomenal battery life.
So far I've gotten around 8.5 hours (using WiFi) of computing doing internet videos, email, music, etc. The only thing this computer would be missing to be a full laptop is a DVD drive. (I have an external DVD writer already so basically that's not an issue for me.)
It starts up quickly. Plenty of hard drive space. You probably couldn't do major gaming or 3D rendering, but for most users this is TOPS.
The keyboard, while slightly smaller than a normal laptop, is quite easy to use. I have had very few problems with mistypes. (Be aware I have long, slender fingers. If you have fat fingers this might be an issue.)
