Does its job well of holding your phone/mp3 player/GPS/etc. in place. If you install this mount completely vertically, make sure the side grips are squeezed in good - even the slightest bumps can make your device start to slide out and fall. The only potential problem I can see is that some devices have buttons on their sides that can be pressed by the side grips. Also seems to be more well-built and rugged than most other similar holders I've seen (and tried) in various stores.

I use this with a Palm Centro and the Palm Garmin external GPS unit. It fits my Audi A4 center vents fine and gets the job done. The grip on the vent louvers is not totally slip free, but adequate. I actually use the lower prop as a stop which give a good viewing angle. Overall, I'm satisfied with this portable and removable solution.
