I was thrilled to find this after the original holder that came with the TomTom failed miserably. So far, so good. The suction cup functions with a lever to keep it attached. Very happy I got this! Only drawback is that I haven't figured out how to easily detach it (leave the mount up, but take out the GPS). Was this review helpful?

This windshied mount is a superb replacement for my TomTom ONE. The mount that I received with the TomTom ONE is a big disappointment. They need not even provide such a poor quality mount. I'm glad I found this replacement mount. Easy to use!! It held the GPS unit firmly and didn't need any adjustment during our 26 hour roundtrip drive from Atlanta to Philadelphia. My only concern is the shipping fee which is unbelievably high. I'd highly recommend this Product Was this review helpful?

We purchase a Tomtom ONE in January, used it for a couple of months, but we were very disappointed with the quality of the suction cup for the windshield. When the temperature varied from morning to noon, the suction cup just popped and the GPS fell. One day it fell in a way that the screen hit the gear stick and the screen shattered. This is not covered by any warranty (although the suction device is provided with the equipment). We bought this one (for our second Tomtom ONE) and it hasn't popped out in almost two months since we installed.
We definitely recommend it if you are using the provided suction holder. Was this review helpful?

buy.com shipping and service excellent..smooth transaction.
Given the size and shape of my windshield,coupled with intense heat in Arizona, having this mount in hand prior to the arrival of my new GPS was indeed a wise move.
It is very versatile and stable and addressed any issues I would have had with the OEM MOUNT.
That said, the knob that turns to control the foward adjustment
(directly behind the GPS) fell off after two days. I keep it in my vehicle and can temporarily attach to change the angle of the
front arm which is a pain particulary when driving. It's also likely a matter of time before it's lost.
Due to the low cost, shipping and hassle factor I chose not to return it. Were it a local purchase I would have had replaced with another. Otherwise works great WITH TOMTOM 920. Was this review helpful?
