2 of 5 Not Even Good for a Newbie Thursday, September 25, 2008 A Customer from Kentucky, USA
I got this for my mom and hoped it would be even easier for her to learn than her cell phone camera. It could be if it had a menu button, but it's too basic to be any good. A simple menu would make it a great tool for learning other more advanced cameras, but this just offers snap and delete options. Also, the viewing window is terribly small. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Great for the price! Monday, March 12, 2007 A Customer from Boston, MA
I was just looking for some cheap digital camera just for personal use, but was actually surprised at how nice the quality was of the picture I took of the view from my room. It's very easy to use, comes with software but you don't really need it. It worked just plug and play for me. I would recommend getting a separate SD card for it as the camera itself isn't able to hold a lot of pictures. Also, the video quality is mediocre, but I probably won't be utilizing that anyway. The flash seems a little strong, but at least it has one. Overall, not a bad little camera. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 No Zoom Feature Tuesday, December 26, 2006 Jeff from Pt Charlotte, Fl
This camera has good quality pics for the money, but there are some problems. The screen is very small, but usuable. The controls are not intuative, but there are instructions. For some, the controls are hard to read. My big problem is that there is no zoom at all, so you can't get close-ups. It is a small, light & thin camera. It will fit in a pocket easily. I do feel that there are better cameras available for just a few dollars more. Was this review helpful?

I bought this inexpensive camera for a very specific purpose, and for that, it works well. Very tiny, almost useless view screen, and made with cheap feeling plastics. Perfect for taking where you don't want to use your "good" camera. I love that it actually accepts an SD card. Camera came with USB plug, and has three resolutions with a surprisingly good 3.1 megapixel maximum setting. Again, this camera is a bad choice for those looking for a user friendly, all purp[ose digital camera. It has performed perfectly for the purpose for which I bought it, (where I won't be mad or out a lot of money if it gets broken), and am quite happy with it. Was this review helpful?

This Argus camera is small and sleek. It easily fits in your shirt pocket. Picture quality is what you would expect from 3.2 megapixels. The 1.5" viewing screen on the back side of the camera is basically worthless. The screen is too small and the image is "jerky" and "blurry". The pushbutton controls located next to the viewing screen (on/off/memory, up, down/flash, display, preview) are hard to read and confusing. The absolute worst thing about this camera is the fact that it sucks up battery power at an alarmingly rapid rate. Three alkaline AAA batteries don't last very long. With the camera turned OFF, the batteries still lose their juice (maybe my camera has some sort of "short" in it?). I would recommend rechargeable batteries. Overall, this camera is worth what I paid for it, about $45.00. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Not bad for the money Thursday, September 21, 2006 A Customer from Midland, Texas
Takes fairly decent pictures, though it's hard to tell due to the tiny tiny screen. The controls are sparse and clunky, but you don't really need to mess with them much. Eats batteries; be sure not to leave it plugged into USB. Software stinks. Was this review helpful?

Nice little camera. Fits in a pocket. Light weight and easy to use. The LCD screen is a bit small but the pictures are great for what I use the camera for. I would rcomend this one to the first time camera user. Was this review helpful?
