1 of 5 Waste of money Monday, March 02, 2009
A Customer from Frederick MD

This camera was a real disappointment. It started out fine enough -- took pictures and video easily. But within a 1/2 hour of use, it completely froze. The battery had to run down before it would unfreeze. Then we had to wait to recharge the battery. This happened every time the camera was used. Very frustating. Don't waste your money.

5 of 5 Great Teen camera Thursday, January 15, 2009
A Customer from South Lyon, MI
This camera is perfect for my 13 year old. Durable enough for her to take on field trips, the bus etc and I don't have to worry about her trashing it in a week. It is not the greatest camera. Difficult with some lighting issues and movement issues, however, for the price and pupose it is GREAT. I definitely buy it again. I would not buy it for an adult trying to take quality pics but for a teen to mess around and not lose it or break it. It's PERFECT!

5 of 5 Good performance for price Monday, January 05, 2009
A Customer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana
I bought this camera so I could bring it skiing or camping. I would rather not worry about my "good" camera. On my ski trip it performed well. The pictures are pretty good and the camera was fun to have around without stressing about damaging it. The view screen is smaller than I am used to and it takes time between shots to set up for the next. Also if you are switching to auto flash there is delay for the camera to set up.

I have not personally used the camera or seen the pitcures but my 21 year old Grandson uses it for snow boarding and loves it

Good for kids. Flash is too bright for close-ups however.

4 of 5 Good outdoor camera BUT Wednesday, December 17, 2008
Melissa Logan from Sussex County, NJ
I have two issues. First, for indoor use, the flash tends to flood the subject if the picture is taken at arm's length. You need a decent distance and to adjust the light frequency in order to not over expose the pictures if taken indoors. Second, the camera does not come with a memory card, so please factor in the separate price of a memory card when considering the full purchase price of the camera. Add about $20 and you will have a better idea of price. That said, it's still good value. I bought this camera for my five year old son, not wanting to buy him a child's digital camera that took worse photos than my phone does. I tested the camera out for ease of use and I am very pleased with the picture quality and straightforward interface and design. It's lightweight, rugged, and I love the carabiner clip.

5 of 5 Good for the price Friday, December 05, 2008
Alfred from Davidson, NC
I did not give the camera as a gift right away but waited for 2 months and then found it was dead (which can happen). All in all it is a nice little rugged camera for my kid doing a decent job. However! Beware of the ARGUS warranty! They charge a 10$ shipping and handling fee to replace their broken products within the warranty period - this is a procedure I have never heard of.

4 of 5 Great for Teens Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Chuck from Memphis
My teen-age daughter, who is still somewhat of a tomboy, loves this camera. It's rugged appearance, plus the clip-on feature menas that it's never far from her side, clipped to cargo pants or a backpack. It's become a 'hip' accessory for her that her friends envy.

4 of 5 It is what it is Thursday, November 06, 2008
Toast from Tampa, Fl
I would like to say that I am pleased with this purchase. It does what it is supposed to, take pictures and take a beating. This camera is rugged. It was dragged (literally on the ground a few times)around Disney for 3 days and still worked when needed. The charge lasted the entire time, and it took good pictures. The carabiner made keeping it handy simple, no digging through backpacks or stuffing it in a pocket. Downloading the pictures was very easy. Your PC will recognize the camera as an external drive. But dont expect this to compare to a camera that cost 3- 5 times as much, it lacks some of the sophisticated features (image stabalization or face recognition). I will definitely take this with us on our outdoor adventure to capture photos without worrying about damaging or getting the camera wet.
