This product worked extremely well to allow cell phone service at our lake cabin in upstate Wisconsin. We went from 0-1 bar to 4-5 bars. It is simple, but could use some more complete instructions. I have a Motorola AT&T phone. Was this review helpful?

This ARC Wireless Freedom Antenna improves my Sprint mobile broadband USB card EVDO signal from an average of 20% to an average of 60%. I am on the fringe area and the signal will sometimes be lower or higher but for the most part stays close to the average. This antenna was the deciding factor in keeping the mobile broadband USB card after the 30 day trial period ended. The cable supplied is not as snug a fit as I would for the USB card but I was able to keep it tight with a rubber band until I can find a more properly fitting cable. The ARC Wireless Freedom Antenna gave my HTC PPC6800 smartphone from U.S. Cellular a 1-2 signal bar boost. My original signal was 0-1 signal bars that went in and out without any consistency. The ARC Antenna gave me a constant 2 signal bars. It is small and very much portable. The price is definitely reasonable. I recommend it. Was this review helpful?

The ARC Wireless Freedom Antenna® has allowed me to make and receive calls from areas I was unable to get any reception before. It has definately met all my expectations, I would recommend it to anyone that needs better cell phone reception.

OK, I'll admit, I thought this was probably another 'snake oil' product, but I was at the end of my rope. We have Cingular (AT&T) in a suburban area and the reception is so bad that we were losing business calls on a daily basis. Out of desperation, I bought one of these antennas for my wife's office, and was amazed with the results - from 1-2 bars went to 4-5 bars! Bought another one for my office and we now enjoy reliable reception, even from Cingular! A very good buy, and well worth the price. Was this review helpful?

This auxilary cellular phone antenna adds at least two bars of signal strength and can help reception in remote sites far from a cellular tower. The antenna comes with two antenna adapter cords that work with most phones. I got 1 to 2 more signal bars in a test with my LG 8300 Verizon phone. Maybe it will make calling easier from remote Northern Nevada landsailing sites. Was this review helpful?

My main concern was increasing my EVDO speeds. I get ~1-2 bars at my house on a tethered Samsung phone, download speeds from 80-250kbps were the norm. With the antenna positioned by a window for best signal I've seen as high as 1,100kbps with an average of 250-450kbps. If I stick it outside and fiddle with it 'till I get max signal it gets even better. Would buy again, just sorry I waited so long. Was this review helpful?
