I bought this product to upgrade a hard drive in a T61p IBM/Lenovo Laptop. Many newer laptops include a separate partition (often hidden) for the recovery media. Apricorn's EZ Gig II software will handle this, but not in the normal instructions they provide for cloning a drive for replacement. Their Tech Support was great in resolving my issue with upgrading, but a little slow in responding. They definitely need to update their documentation and/or on-line support and provide additional details about the best procedures to use when upgrading these types of computer drives. Aside from that, the product is a super solution for use in upgrading your hard drive. Was this review helpful?

I hesitated upgrading my laptop's hard drive because I was scared to open things up and mess something up. Now I wish I would have done it months ago. This product made it so fast, smooth and easy - I would definitely recommend to anyone! It was easier doing this than upgrading a desktop hard drive. Was this review helpful?
