I loved my ipod its amazing, i dont leave my house without it, you can dl pictures videos and songs. Make sure you buy a case specifically designed for ipods 60gb photo because the regular 30gb cases wont fit. It is also true, the ipod comes with the headphones, and the charger. I Totally recommend this site for purchases

This is the simply the best mp3 player out there. Plenty of space, fully functional, patented click-wheel (fantastic for super fast viewing of all your songs!), awesome sound, and fun extras like games, calendar, and address book! Plus, with Buy.com's fantastic price - you can't go wrong here.

Quick clarification for Buy.com's comments on what's included and not included in this 60Gb package. This model (M9830LL/A) does include headphones, usb cable, and AC adapter despite what they mention above. But that's all it comes with - no firewire, dock, carry pouch, AV wire, etc. But for <$400, I found it WELL worth the $$. If you've ever wanted a single place to keep all your songs AND easily carry them with you, the iPod 60Gb is the way to go, esp. when you have a lot of songs and plan on adding more and more. The photos, hard disk, etc. capabilities are nice additional features too. Heck, you can even make the iPod your contact and calendar carrier if you want. But the overriding positive feature I found is the incredibly easy and fast method to scan through all your songs (I have >10,000) via the spin wheel. It's so intuitive I can't believe it hasn't been done before. So basically, lots of storage, portability, and speed + ease of use makes this a winner for me. I compared many alternatives but kept coming back to this and eventually bought one and now tremendously enjoy it. Hope you do too.

if you are looking for one machine that has everything you can ask for from an mp3 player a harddrive and a digital photo veiwer, this is the machine 4 you. you are walking around with a peice that is about the size and weight of an avrage pack of playing cards, has the ability to scroll thru 15000 tracks in 20-30 secs and has more then 65000 colours on the screen, plus the extra harddrive space to keep files with you at all times. there is also a huge amount of accessories you can check out.

The ipod 60GB Photo is my second ipod purchase. I purchased a second generation 20GB model years ago, and it is still going strong as a hand-me-down to my wife. The new version of the 60GB Photo is all meat and no potatoes. There are fewer extras than the original 60BG model, but by slimming down the accessories to a bare minimum, Apple has made the player a little more affordable for those sitting on the fence. The ipod 60GB packs more punch (features) and more stamina (storage) than any other MP3 contender on the market. With the arrival of my first iPod I wasn't perpared for the Apple style that permeates every aspect of their product, but with the 60GB Photo, I had raised my expectations... and I wasn't disappointed. It has the look and feel of top-shelf electronic equipment, which it is. But more than that, the iPod Photo works splendidly with other fine audio equipment - in the living room as well as the car. I would only suggest that you buy a set of earbuds worthy of your new iPod, because as good as the player is, it really needs a better headset than the iPod earbuds that are the standard dime store accessory in the box. They are good, but not in a league with the iPod. One word... Etymotic

If you're an avid music lover, and can't stand carrying all of your CDs in a carrying case just to listen to a few of your favorite songs, then the iPod 60GB is perfect for you... mind you the color screen, ease of scrolling thru songs, playlists, albums is an added bonus!!! I truly love my iPod photo... and the thing about it is the fact that it holds 15000 songs makes me search for every single song that I love, just so I can have it to listen to whenever I'm ready... plus with the iTunes, you can add the album photo cover (in color, of course!!!). Additionally, the fact that I'm carrying a tiny harddrive that has the same capacity has my HP laptop is RIDICULOUS!!!! And, I hear, that you can even add videos (as long as they're added as data, which is an additional feature).

This product has truly kept me joyfull for days. When ever i am to be down, the handyness of it is turly unremarkable, by that i mean that it isn't hard to take out the back pack or any bag in that matter and ease of useing it is truly easy as well!
