This is a great product, at a great price. I got it for cheaper than the 20GB with color display and it holds 10GB more. I have several iPods, this one being my current favorite. I am planning on buying the new iPod with video, but I still highly recommend this product. Any Apple iPod is worth purchasing, even the iPod Shuffle, which has no screen. The ease of use, and the plethora of available accessories for all iPods give them the advantage over any competitors. The only downside to the iPod is some subscription service download sites, ie Napster use a non-iPod compatible format, but I feel that the iTunes Music Store has a much better selection, and I would rather spend $9.99 for an album that I "own" not every song in the world that I rent, and can't use on my iPods. This is my 2nd time ordering items from Buy.com. Great experience. Their price is the lowest, and serves is good. Love the Ipod 30 GB, all my documents, applications and of course photos and songs come along with me anywhere I go. I do not really need to buy an USB driver. If you decide to buy a jump drive over 2 GB memories, try ipod instead. I have not yet tried to use camera connector to transfer pic from camera to ipod directly, so far, I am very pleased by the tiny but powerful toy! Was this review helpful?

I burned my entire 120 CD collection for less than 5 GB (it took me several weeks). I still have 25 GB of storage left. I guess that's why Apple is phasing this one out for the smaller models. But for $10 extra, you can get this puppy instead of the 20 GB replacement. And it holds pictures, too. Oh, and I bought the Photo dock and a Monster Cable to pipe it into my receiver and sold my CD player. You can also pipe it directly into your television and run a slideshow directly from the iPOD. The product is awesome! It's something I've always wanted. The back surface and the screen get scratched way too easily, but other than that it totally lives up to my expectations. I had billing and shipping problems w/ Buy.com on this item, which will make future purchases something I will have to think long and hard about. The product in itself however, is well worth it. A definate must buy! If it is possible to find something to protect the screen it is even better. Was this review helpful?
