Of course this happens after the 1yr. manufacturing warranty expires. The location of the earphone plug in and the charging socket are located on the same side of the ipod. This side gets alot of repeated plugging and unplugging over time. Something came loose in mine and now I can only hear out of one side of the headphone and my IHOME doesn't recognize when I lay the IPOD in the cradle. How can they design all of these neat items to simply dock your ipod into and not have a really good system that doesn't over time loosen that area? checked around and this happens alot. I have to buy a new one. Are the new ones better designed? Should I get their extended warranty? Probably cause all of my music is on ITUNES. I'm addicted. Was this review helpful?
