I bought an ipod classic for my husband for his birtday and the thing doesn't hold a charge. Because it was a gift it sat in the package for a coupld of weeks until his birthday. By the time we figured out the thing wouldn't hold a charge 31 days had gone by since it was shipped and buy.com refused to work with me in any way to make it right. The product is horrible, the customer service is even worse. I had purchase several item from buy.com before this, but will no longer give them my business, you should not either unless you like getting ripped off and treated badly.

You really can't go wrong with the IPod classic. The one that started it all is still the best choice for people with large music collection. This version features cover flow support, which allows browsing of your music using the album art. I have had an IPod since the second generation classic, loved all of them. I bought this one for my girlfriend. She liked taking mine, 60 gig version, because of all the music on it. I got her this one and she loves it. The battery life is even longer now. IPods are still the best MP3 players around. I recommend this classic to anyone who is looking for a MP3 player.

I actually bought this as a present but my sister has enjoyed it very much. Once she installed iTunes it was very easy to use. She enjoys that she can watch videos on it and the categorization/organization of the music makes it very easy to find exactly what you want. the games on this model are fun as well, it comes with a movie or music trivia game, vortex, and solitary pre-installed. we took it on a road trip and even watching videos the battery lasted 7 hours.

If you like alot of storage for your money this is what your need. Is a little bit less responsive because of the hard drive compared to the flash drives, but still really good. Has a great battery life.
