A great buy! I got these earphones as a backup pair, and have been using them for a couple of weeks. They work just as described with my iPhone 3G.
The only differences I can see between the Apple-provided earphones and this set are:
(1) the wires don't seem as "springy" and
(2) the sound is a bit more "tinny".
Since I mostly listen to audiobooks rather than music, that doesn't bother me very much. I don't use them that much for talking on the phone so am not sure how they transmit sound on the phone, but no one has remarked on poor quality sound, so I can only assume they're okay. I lost the headphones for my iphone and needed a quick, inexpensive replacement. They were definitely inexpensive and arrived very very quickly. I love the headset- it is much more decisive than the Apple earbuds- very easy to tell how many times it has been pressed. The sound is good but not great but better than I expected for the price. My one complaint is that the in-ear portion is too large (bigger even than Apple) which is fine for normal use but terrible for running. Was this review helpful?
