    Just in case you were wondering, you haven't accidentally slept through iLife '07. Apple has decided that since 2007 is closer to its end than its start, it would skip ahead to iLife '08. With so much development time going into Leopard, the iPhone and iPods, updates to iLife will probably become a little further apart....read the full review

    3 of 5 iLife 08 is okay Tuesday, November 27, 2007

    I have been using iLife 08 for about two months and it is okay. I don't see anything for me that is any great improvement over my previous version (06). iMovie 08 is a bust in my book. I continue using iMovie HD (06) as there is noting about iMovie 08 that I care for. A few new themes on iDVD but I can't say they do much for me. I do not use .mac, iChat or iWeb. I have a personal web site already and iWeb does not make it easy for me to import the existing web site into it nor easy to publish it back to my server. Unless you are using .mac, iChat and iWeb are useless. I like to keep current on my software so I upgraded to iLife 08 but should have known better than to waste my $80 on a product that was getting less than great reviews by those that had already made the jump. My iMac is a great computer that I love after years of using PCs but I am a bit disappointed in the software upgrade(?).
