Cover Flow

what a good deal for an ipod nano. It comes with risks, as it's a refurbished model...my first use of the ipod yielded a defective jack to the headphones. Attempting to send unit back is labor intensive, as buy.com uses a 3rd party for it's warranties on this item. I'm waiting for the ipod back in the mail still. I found this Ipod is good but if you buy through buy.com you dont get original Apple headphones. May be the seller is saving some money there by not providing Original Headphones.
If you buy through Apple , ( recently Apple also given at the same price ) you get all original Apple products.
However Ipod is good and my son liked it very much. I had to buy new head phones Was this review helpful?

I got this Ipod for $99 and free shipping and it works great! Even AFTER WASHING it in a load of clothes! The first week I had it I left it in my pocket and it went thru the entire wash cycle. When I got the clothes out and found it, it had water in the screen. I leaned it up on it's end and left it for 48 hours and it dried out and works as good as ever! My only complaint is I kinda wish I had gotten an 8 or 80 GB because it's full already but I have 500 songs on it so it's all I need. I have already purchased a second one for a friend. I bought 3 of the recertified iPods, for me and my family. The iPods are great, but the included headphones are either not the original apple ones or an old version of them. The original pair is 30$ so you end up with almost the price you would pay for a new one. Was this review helpful?

I purchased a refurbished iPod Nano for my son as he had lost his first one. It worked as advertised and he loves it.
My one complaint is that the 3G Nano only works with iTunes 7.4 which only runs on Windows XP and Vista. I am still running Windows 2000 on my 3 PCs so I had problems. I tried Anapod Explorer and it seemed to work fine, but when I would disconnect the iPod from the PC it would show No Music. This was the case, even though I could attach the iPod to the PC and play the music from the iPod through the computer speakers. It cost me many hours and I still do not have an Anapod-only solution. I was able to read about the problem and find a plugin for WinAmp the songs viewable and playabe that I had loaded with Anapod Explorer. I need to continue to read about the Anapod software as I paid $29 for the full package and like the user interface very much and therefore would like to use it.
