    I am using APC products for years now and no complaints so far. The ergonomic design of the plug outlets is fantastic, especially to fit all those huge power adapters. Very simple to operate and the safety gates feature is nice. The flexibility which comes with the pivoting cord is a plus.

    We always buy APC surge protectors and battery backups. We've been burned with other brands. APC plugged into outlet works find, "other brand" plugged into same outlet sends sparks flying.

    I've had good experiences with APC in the past. This surge protector was no exception. Thanks to the transformer bricks on most computer equipment, there's no way you're going to get 11 plugs into this thing. But the layout of the outlets gives you a lot of flexibility for those that you do get in there. Also, a note on the "safety gates" on the plugs. Unlike other reviews I've seen, I had no problem getting plugs into the outlets because of the gates. They're very simple to operate. Another helpful feature is the pivoting power cord on this unit. It's especially handy if you plan on wall-mounting the surge protector. With protection for your power plugs, ethernet, coax and telephone, I don't know how you could beat the protection and value of this unit. Thankfully, I haven't had to test its performance under stress yet (ie, no storms or surges).

    I highly recommend any and all APC products. This product definitely does the job. The layout is great for plugs and transformers. I've used these in all our offices at work and at home. APC surge protectors have sacrificed themselves to save my equipment and APC is very good about replacing them when they do. My only minor gripe about this new style of surge protector is the safety plugs. Sometimes they are difficult to plug in to.
