I was a little skeptical of these but installed them on two computers in my home. I've got the LCD's, printers and speakers plugged into them and they all shut down and wake up like they are supposed to in both standby and hibernate mode (XP and Vista). It turns out each power strip was using between 20w - 25w when the computer was off, which is like leaving a small light bulb turned on 24-7-365. I know it won't work out to more than a few cents over the year but if you are due to replace a power strip anyway it seems like a great option. Was this review helpful?
