    I have been very satisfied with APC products over the years; I have many. I purchased this unit to handle the power for a 6 foot rack of computers and peripheral gear for a recording studio. It seems to be handling the job excellently. Once caveat: it's heavy (120 lbs.) Insatallation was a little problematic since I had a 26" deep rack and the mounting rack ears wouldn't work in it. I believe it requires at least a 29" deep rack to mount properly. We placed it in the sliding rack kit (supplied) at the bottom of the rack and left the rack ears off and it seems fine that way. Because it has a readout that tells you how much capacity is being used, we are able to gauge the load as well as get an idea of how long it will operate in a power outage. It also can be upgraded to addtitional capacity with a companion unit. I would reccommend it to anyone looking for a professional power management system and who has some strong helpers to lift.
