I highly recommend this APC-branded battery cartridge (despite the fact that the product pictured is not an RBC-7 [it looks like groups of RBC-2s, and there are no product CDs associated with the RBC-7]). The APC-branded RBC-7 that I received on-time worked great! I had a terrible experience with a TrippLite "equivalent" and their insulting warranty management practices, so I never will deal with TrippLite products again. After bad experiences with the aftermarket brands, I now always go with genuine APC batteries. APC also provides a prepaid return label to ship the dead battery back for recycling. The only downside is the price. Sometimes I throw away the whole UPS because the Genuine APC battery is too expensive relative to the cost of the UPS unit itself. I hope that APC is aware of this problem and sets more reasonable prices for replacement batteries. Was this review helpful?

As a die hard APC user what can I say about replacement batteries. All I can say is use original APC batteries. I have heard stories of non-APC batteries leaking. Why risk early failure when the real thing cost about the same when you consider Free Shipping. Was this review helpful?

I have tried several generic alternatives to this battery. I have always been disappointed.
This APC battery has reliably provided years of backup.
Save money elsewhere, not on your power backup.

TO EASY....if you need to recharge you UPS this is the way to go. Arrive in 2 day. Just slap it in and your ready to go. You can't beat this for the price. Returned old one in box received with the postage paid. Great for recyling. Its keep going, going and going. I'll be replacing more as they go down. Got 5 years out of the last one. APC provides a prepaid UPS shipper with their replacement batteries, to return the old battery! If you have ever tried to responsibly dispose of a battery, you know the hassle of trying to do so. That reason alone has brought me back to using the bona fide APC batteries. You can buy them cheaper, but the convenience of the returns is worth the extra price. Was this review helpful?
