This is pretty much like replacing the battery in a flashlight. The only issue is the batteries only cost a few bucks less than a whole new UPS. I just can't bring myself to throw the old one away. Thanks for having this item here as they are a bit hard to find. Was this review helpful?

After my 2 year old UPS started making a noise, I looked in the book to see what the problem was. The book said the battery needed replaced. According to the APC web site, this was the correct replacement battery for my unit. Buy.com is the only place I could find it in stock. Got it in a few days and my UPS is back in good shape. APC includes a return UPS label so the old lead acid battery can be sent for no extra cost to be disposed of properly. Good deal for me and the environment. Was this review helpful?
