I bought this in August 2005 in order to secure client files, as well as to vault my web site passwords. It doesn't work with my tax prep software, which I was bummed but knew that was a possibility. It also won't work if you have multiple signins on the same site (such as a bank site with multiple accounts under different passwords). I just purchased a new desktop and will probably buy another Biopod. It's very handy overall. A few times, which might be caused by my system, it forgets to ask for your finger and waits for the password. A jiggle of the USB usually corrects this. I would recommend it to anybody looking for some additional security as well as a good password vault. Was this review helpful?

I was not sure when I purchased this item if it truly would work. The installation was simple, I was using it within 5 minutes!
I have not found a site that this device can not recognize. For this price everyone should have one! I am going to purchase a few more as gifts for the holidays. Was this review helpful?

I just got this in place for the Microsoft fingerprint reader. AMAZING. the Microsoft is terrible compared to this. Microsofts looks better and is easier to use but with a little computer experience you will find what better options this thing has. Microsoft is not as good with some sites with passwords, not logging in, but the APC has not had trouble yet. Better software, saying Access Granted everytime you log in and displaying your fingerprint. Microsofts fingerprint reader does nothing, just logs in. Overall this APC is cooler, the Microsoft looks cooler. This is cheaper. This works better. Go with this amazing product. Was this review helpful?
