There is only I dislike from this product: discharge, then recharge: too complicate, too inconvenient. Why not a product that we can charge anytime we want to, no memory, no bug us to do the discharge , then recharge. No time to do this. Was this review helpful?

Its a battery in a nice smooth black case about the size and shape of my Itouch. If left connected to an Ipod, it will deplete itself just charging / over charging so you must disconnect it. I would have liked the ON button to also function as a OFF button to avoid this problem. Was this review helpful?

This Battery Backup worked far better than the Kensington model I have. It can charge an almost depleted iPhone 3G 16gb twice on a single charge. Had it not been for the fact that I already had the necessary cable, I would have been searching everywhere online for it... If you are going to advertise that this is for the iPhone, it should have that cable included.
I would highly recommend this for the iPhone 3G, but you will need to get the USB cable separately. Was this review helpful?

I use it to charge iPod Touch, and soon my iPhone 3G. It recharges my iPod Touch 1 and 3/4 times before it is fully drained. I have lost the AC adapter, because I never use it; there is a USB always available. Was this review helpful?

I have had a UPB10 power pack for about a year now and it is great. Easy to use and charge, I misplaced the AC charger because I never used it. I always charge it with my desktop or laptop computers USB port. It's extremely light and just the right size to keep in my travel case for back up. We have heard on sci-fi shows like Stargate and Enterprise when they talk about Power Modals; this is it! I just ordered a 2nd one for my new iPhone, (I used the 1st one with my iPod Touch)

Just bought an Iphone and wanted to make sure when i watch videos and movies on a long trip that i would still have power left when i got to my destination. Not only did it make a 8 hour total trip it still had enough power left to charge my iphone once i got to the hotel. I originally wanted a way to extend the battery life of my ipod, but this battery pack allows me to charge my cell phone also. Great for going on vacation where a plug is not available.
The quoted battery life is accurate, and the size of the unit is perfect for traveling.

Purchased to keep my Moto Q, Samsung Blade, iPod Nano and Toshiba Gigabeat charged on the road. The Gigabeat 60GB is a higher drain device than this was designed to keep charging while playing video. I would suspect that watching video on an iPod Video would be show the same shortcoming. Otherwise, it is easy to use, and works well for cell phones and the Nano. Easy to charge and seems to have more power than I would need in order to use for situations when I am on the road and do not have a charger for my phones. This would be excellent for cell phone back-up power for mission critical people in sales or who are on call. Thin and fairly small - easy to slide into a briefcase. Was this review helpful?
