5 of 5 Keeps my old notebook from overheating! Monday, May 05, 2008

I have a four year old Toshiba laptop that sits on this all of the time. When the laptop is placed flat on a table or anything else, it overheats after an hour or so and experiences a blue screen of death. However, when the laptop is on this stand, it never experiences any overheating issues. The stand is also nice as it props the screen up to a higher level, causing me to not have to hunch over when using the laptop any more. Highly recommended... I just wish that after two years this thing would drop in price (purchased in 2006 for $40) so I can buy another one for my new laptop! Was this review helpful?

I have two of these and they both work great. I would like to see one with a larger base for 17" notebooks. I removed the wheels on the one that holds the 17" laptop and reduced the angle slightly bacause it is a little big for the stand, but tech support says it is OK and I have not had any problems. the other one holds a 14" laptop. This stand is perfect for any 14" or 15" laptop. Was this review helpful?
