Editor's Note
Psychology graduate student Stan Warden (Lowe), broke and living out of his car, accepts a job as the building manager Dr. Calgari's Wonder View Apartments when he finds out the position includes free rent. Populated by an assortment of Hollywood weirdos--including a hormonally-driven psychic (Plummer), two struggling stuntwomen (Banks and Mari), a tormented ex-government agent (Ermey), and a mysterious shut-in (Smith) to name but a few--Stan finds plenty of material for his thesis on abnormal psychology. Alas, when Stan discovers the bloated body of the former building manager in the complex's swamp-like swimming pool, he begins to realize that strange things are afoot at the Wonder View. Now he must find the killer before he becomes the next victim in this offbeat TWILIGHT ZONE-inspired thriller from the director of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and POLTERGEIST.
