Of all the stereo bluetooth headphones I tried this one worked the best. The sound was good, plenty loud, even using the ipod fixed output and had fewer dropouts than other devices. It also worked very well with my son's LG Chocolate phone as a stereo headset. The headphones themselves actually support BT2.0 even though BT1.2 is advertised. The ipod streamer is 1.2 though. The product I received did not have a folding headband. Instead a fixed headband was provided with removeable earpieces. Ear clips were also provided so you can clip them on without a headband but I found these uncomfortable. I would have preferred the folding kind as they are more compact.
You can control your ipod pause, play, next track, previous track from the headphones allowing you to tuck it away and not have to take it out.
Now for the bad news. The ipod adapter is powered by the ipod itself and Anycom advertises that it only reduces the ipod battery life by about 2 hours. Bull!! My second generation 8GB nano battery life is between 18 and 24 hrs normally. Using the ipod adapter, the battery life was 6 hrs. I tested it!! For most purposes 6 hrs would be enough but since the $250 ipod is disposible after the battery dies, this thing would reduce the life of the ipod to 1/3 it's normal life. Also the 12 hr battery life of the headphones becomes meaningless if the ipod only lasts 6 hrs. As such I am returning the device.
It would have been perfect if they just included a battery in the ipod adapter!!. Maybe they will when they introduce the BT2.0 ipod adapter.
