5 of 5 just right Monday, October 06, 2008 A Customer from Portland OR
Power supplies are boring, and that's good. If a power supply is doing everything right then they can be happily ignored. This one does it all well. It came with all the latest hookups that are needed, for last the half of 2008 at least.
Oh and I have extra items that it has to power, so A+. It does make me wonder why anyone would need more than 850 watts. Perhaps if you have two top-end graphics cards and too many hard drives? Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 So far so good. Sunday, April 06, 2008 ScooterLibbby from Denton, TX
This power supply was easily able to handle to overclocked 8800GTS 640mb video cards. That, and Buy.com's low price at the time I purchased, leaves me quite satisfied. My only con is that it is only semi-modular, the native cables including the motherboard 24 pin connector are not modular. If you are running SLi or a video card that takes 2 PCI 6 pin connectors, make sure to use one native 6 pin connector and one modular 6 pin connector. The folks at Antec told me this distributes power more evenly. Was this review helpful?

Enough power for 5 Antec 3 speed fans, Evga 8800GT, 500GB & 80GB HD, 2 Optical Drives MSI K9N SLI Mobo with a AMD Athlon X2 5400@ 2.8GHz and Zalman CPU cooler. All connection are in alignment perfect to connect everything and hide the wires. All this is in an Antec 900 case and it looks clean with evything tucked away neatly. Was this review helpful?
