The Essentially Cool and Quiet Case

Impressively spacious and unbeatably reliable, the Antec Three Hundred is an unbeatable enclosure. Despite its eminently portable frame, the Three Hundred has enough room for an NVIDIA 8800 series graphics card, as well as six hard drives and a standardATX motherboard. A cable management compartment keeps your system organized and the airflow unobstructed. A 120mm rear fan and 140mm top fan ensure that the case runs cool even when playing the most demanding games, while the sleek black finish gives it an extra stylish edge.

No Power Supply included

  • To optimize performance of your Three Hundred, your choice of power supply is crucial. Antec strongly recommends choosing from our NeoPower or TruePower series.

  • Washable air filters reduces dust build up in your system, which helps keep your system cooler
  • Perforated front bezel for maximum air intake
  • 7 expansion slots

    5 of 5 Great Case Thursday, April 09, 2009
    A Customer from Asheville, NC

I've had my case for about a week and so far I love everything about it. It look great, was easy to add parts to, it's nice and quiet, it looks very cool and as of now I'd give it a 5/5 rating.

5 of 5 Good budget case Wednesday, March 25, 2009
    A Customer from Nicholasville, KY
As usual, the quality of this Antec case is very good. There is plenty of room even for large video cards. There is about 11 inches of space from the back panel to the hard drive cage. There is a wire management area behind the side panel which allows you to hide your excess cabling and improve airflow. The airflow in this case is phenomenal. There is a 120mm fan in the rear, 140mm on top and spots for 1 120mm fan in the side panel and 2 in the front. I am using just the stock fans and my Core2 Quad runs at about 30 degrees C. My only complaint is that the paint is a bit thin. I took the case out of the box and it was perfect. The next day, I went to assemble my PC and there was a large chip in the top of the case which had been sitting in the corner since I unboxed it. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this case.

5 of 5 Great Case for Short Cash... Monday, March 23, 2009
    A Customer from Boston, MA
The Antec 300 is sturdy enough, but repeated opening and closing to tweak and hide away cables has quickly loosened the fittings on both the side panels. Airflow is Phenominal....if a little on the loud side. The 140mm top fan alone sounds like a vacume cleaner if set to "high". With both included fans set to "medium", and 2 120mm intake fans in the front, my core 2 quad runs at 26c at idle, and the motherboard 27c at idle (according to Asus PC Probe II). The cable storage compartment (zip-ties included) is a very nice touch. It keeps the airflow clean and unobstructed. Be mindful of the length of your video card(s). Long cards may intrude hard drive bay, but with 6 bays it's not really a problem. My only real gripe with this case is that with the power supply being at the bottom, and the 12v p4 power connector being at the top of my particular motherboard, I had to add lenth (about 5 inches) to the 12v p4 power cable on the power supply. Using a modular power supply solves this though. Also, the Tri-Cool fans have only molex connectors, and no motherboard connectors. All in all, I'm very pleased with the Antec 300, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an extreme air cooling case on a budget.

5 of 5 Antec Is Awesome Sunday, March 22, 2009
    A Customer from Tampa, FL
I've used other cases but it will only be Antec from now on. The front of the case comes off so much easier on Antec cases. I love the fan on top and all the other fan options. The price is great, it's spacious, and it comes with far more hardware than my Thermaltake cases have come with. In fact, other cases have shorted me hardware where I am always left with extra from Antec cases. I love the USB connections, power, reset, and audio connections on the TOP of the case, very easy access for me. There isn't very much plastic which I like a lot. Oh, and by the way, Buy.com is great too.

    5 of 5 Excellent Friday, March 06, 2009
    Lithodora from Port Angeles, WA
This case was recommended to me by the folks over on the Tom's Hardware forums. It fit well into my budget. Buy.com had the best price and free shipping. My internal temp is 38~40C at idle. I have my fans running on high and noise is a non-issue for me. This still runs quieter than previous systems I have run. My build: Core i7 920 (running 3.5ghz) Mugen 2 CPU cooler (thing is a monster!) ASUS P6T Deluxe Motherboard SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 1GB Video Card PC Power & Cooling S75CF 750W EPS12V Power Supply OCZ Platinum 3GB (3 x 1GB) DDR3 SDRAM Triple Channel 2.5TB total hard drives. It was very close between one of my hard drives and the video card, but I had plenty of room to just move the hard drive if I needed.

    5 of 5 Great Case Sunday, March 01, 2009
    Kieth from Port Charlotte
You won't go wrong with this case. I purchased this because Toms Hardware gave it a good review. The only changes I would make would be to put filters in where you choose not to have fans. Also mine is a bit noisy, not sure which fan is making the most noise, could be the stock i7 fan.

5 of 5 Room to Grow Friday, February 20, 2009
    Dave from New Bedford, MA
I bought 3 of these cases and have no complaints at all. They have enough room for pretty much anything you can think of. My power supply leads would not reach the mobo since the supply is bottom mounted in this case. If you have a mobo with the power connects at the very top you will need a ps with long enough leads or need to use an extension. I used a cheapy ps (codegen) and the leads were to short. The better the quality of the ps seems the longer the wires. The huge 120mm fans move a lot of air and have a 3 speed switch. Low and medium settings are suprisingly quiet. I like the mesh front panel which snaps off with incredible ease. I don't think you could overheat this case if you tried. It is heavy and built better than most. I have been impressed with the quality of Antec and also Ultra products in general. This case is really decent and a great deal at half the cost of the 900. Free Shipping makes this a no brainer. Many companies are charging $15-$25 just to ship a case. If you have space for a good mid-sized tower go for it.!!!

    5 of 5 great case Saturday, February 14, 2009
    A Customer from California
Well, it looks good, is sturdy, has tons of room, and tons of air circulation. The 2 fans it comes with keep my system cool, and you could add 3 more if you wanted too. No sharp edges, my HD 4870 fit in well.

5 of 5 Good Case Especially For Modding Saturday, February 14, 2009
Jason Russell from Island Park, ID
This is a nice sturdy case and has plenty of room for your average computer setup. I modded this case and put a paint job and a window in it. (Type UModIt in YouTube search and you will see) Lots of features and comes with plenty of hardware to set up everything nicely

Although this is my first build it's easy to see this case is perfect for a personal computer. Cables are easy to clean up and fans are good quality. Couldn't ask for a better price.

5 of 5 Great case for my NAS box. Sunday, November 16, 2008
    wardog from Portage, MI
Again, great layout inside for my purpose of building a 24/7 NAS box. Fans are quiet, case temps are great, and all the cables tidied up nicely too. Although, as the previous Reviewer inclined, while Antec supplies thumbscrews for the HD's I'd suggest using a phillips to tighten 'em down. Loose screws enable vibrations that will wreak havok with HD's.

    5 of 5 Excellent Product Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Case is well laid out. As others have stated, the fans are very quiet, it is well constructed and hard drives can be installed without a screw driver.

    4 of 5 Solid Case Saturday, October 04, 2008
A Customer from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Case has excellent air flow. Keeps all my hardware nice and cool. Case is a little small if your using large video cards but for a basic set up it is ideal. Reset button could have been placed better but I guess there's not much choice being as most of the front of the case is taken up by two 120mm intake fans(not included). There is no power supply so you will have to get fans and power supply separately. That will add another C note (for quality PS & fans). And whats up with all the thumb screws? Overall a nice solid case.

5 of 5 Solid, wellbuilt case Tuesday, September 30, 2008
    A Customer from Charleston, SC
Great case. Looks nice. Good price. Good wire management. There's a little pocket to the side of the HD drive bays where I was able to shove all my cables into. Wish it came with 2 intake fans, but that's ok.

5 of 5 Great at this price. Wednesday, September 17, 2008
    Robert from Philadelphia, PA
It's not particularly quiet, and the USB ports on the front of the case are high, which means that they interfere with the CD-ROM, but this case is a bona fide bargain. Not fond of the cable management provided. Finish is exactly like the Vostro 200 Dell line, but this case is much larger. No trays for the drives. Everything is screw-in. If you are swapping drives all the time, best to look elsewhere. One thumbscrew missing. Huge number of standoffs and screws provided. Could build three machines with the number of screws provided. Bios reports that the AMD 5600+ with stock fan at 40 degrees in this case. An excellent deal at the price offered at buy.com.

4 of 5 Very NIce Case! Friday, September 12, 2008
    Doug from Boothbay ME
The build with this case went without problems. I like the PSU's placment in the bottom of the case and the storage on the motherboard side of the case for cable managment. I purchased two Antec 120mm LED fans for the front of the case and all is working perfectly.I have all fans operating at low speed to keep the noise down. It is hard to go wrong with this case.

5 of 5 Best case ever. Wednesday, September 10, 2008
    E. Cedano from New Jersey
So far, this has been the best case I have purchased. The only inconvenience is that it does not come with a power supply, extra fans (You'll need to purchase 3x120mm separatelly) and it has a minor flaw... It doesn't have an air filter on the side-door fan area. Plenty of thumbs screws and the design is great! (area to hide cables, Bottom Power supply location, plenty space to work in, etc.). For this price it is a steal.

5 of 5 Antec quality, great case, lowest price, fast ship Monday, August 25, 2008
    A Customer from Columbia, Missouri
Really, the title says it all but I will say that I'm very impressed with the selection of Antec cases buy.com carries and their pricing. Of course, you can't argue with free shipping when it comes to cases. Delivery was fast, case was very well packaged and cushioned, and this case is exactly what I needed. It's not just for gamers, either. Good, effecient airflow and internal layout. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and I will always check buy.com for Antec cases before starting any computer build.

4 of 5 Inexpensive, not cheap Monday, August 11, 2008
A Customer from Bay Area, CA
I bought this case to build a home server. It is feels well built, but spartan: The front panel has only 2 USB ports and audio jacks, and the case has no screwless drive mounting hardware. Despite this, it is reasonably simple to add or remove hard drives; removing the two side panels gives easy access to the drive bay screws, and the front panel is easily removed to access the drive bays behind the (optional) front cooling fans. I have used cheap cases before; this case has a solid feel and rolled edges that cheap cases usually lack. It doesn't have lighted fans or a side window, which I count as a plus. It offers an excellent value for the price.

    5 of 5 awsome case Friday, July 25, 2008
    xixmogunzxix from virginia
this would be my first name brand computer case. i first bought a cooler master case but the case was just ok. i used that case for about a year then bought this case. i got it in perfect condition despite being single boxed. the case was very sturdy. the fans worked and came with and additional free fan. i put my system in and hooked up the two front fans and the side fan. i have fans on all available fan ports. it keeps my system a lot cooler. the cable routing system is just ok but its better than what i was using. im not using this case for gaming but it does keep my amd 2.00ghz dual core processor at 28c idle. the fans on the lowest settings are also really quiet. for 60 bucks, this case is top notch. the only other con besides the cable management being just ok, is that the reset button is really really small. about the size of a tic-tac, for those of us with big hands this is a minor inconvenience. still, i would recommended this to anyone looking to upgrade from an old case.

5 of 5 good size and airflow Saturday, July 19, 2008
    A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
I needed a case smaller than my Antec 900 with good airflow and this is it, there is plenty of room for what I need. If you looking for a good smaller case (although I don't see why they call it that it has alot of room) this is it, I recommend this case.

    5 of 5 Great value Tuesday, July 08, 2008
    Don from Baltimore, MD
I bought this case so I could build my son a new (inexpensive) PC. This is by no means a top of the line case, but I think you'll be hard pressed to find another case of this quality. Even for the current price it's a good value. Antec even included an extra fan with a note indicating that there were some quality control issues with the fans and they were including an extra one in case there was a problem with either of the (two) fans included in the case. There was also a number to call in case I needed another extra fan - very cool of them and it turned out that I did need the fan to replace a noisy tricool fan on my Antec P180 that I bought a couple of years ago that has been very noisy since I bought it. This case uses the exact same tricool fans that the P180 does.

4 of 5 Good airflow, relatively quiet case Friday, June 13, 2008
    A Customer from Jacksonville, FL
The TriCool fans, set on medium or low, are quiet and provide good airflow for cooling. There is a lot of room in the case for expansion and cable organization. The power supply at the bottom of the case can make routing cables slightly more work, but cooling is better.
