5 of 5 Easy build, maximum upgradeability Thursday, November 29, 2007 Shatner 3000 from Lakeland, Florida
This case is perfect. No stupid doors to wrestle open when you want to get at a CD or DVD. The auto-flipping DVD-ROM vanity doors and buttons worked without a hitch. Aluminum case is light but sturdy. Fit and finish are great, with no metal burrs to cut you while installing. Almost tool-less--a Phillips screwdriver is all you need. The removable motherboard tray is a godsend, and an absolute necessity--don't buy a case without one, or you'll be sorry. Drive installation--both hard drives and DVD-ROMs--couldn't be easier. Plenty of space to grow as you upgrade. Big enough for any power supply, and for virtually any CPU cooler. The clear side panel and blue LEDs make it a real conversation piece. I didn't install a front fan, yet the case still coolly runs a Q6600 Quad-Core CPU, overclocked to 3.15GHz on Zalman air. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Case Wednesday, May 23, 2007 bharris291@optonline.net from New city Ny, 10956
Hi,
I loved this case from the day i unpacked it. Impressed with the qualtiy and how sturdy it is. It's much lighter then a Steel case. Love the drive quick rails easy to pull a drive out or re arrange. I liked the whole mounting process of the drives etc. Takes time to mount everything getting the rails right. Wish it had a fan ontop of the case though. Newer case have vents or fans ontop finally. Cooling is good with fron fan installed. Would recomend a quit kit for fans and PS makes a big difference. Was this review helpful?

Fit and finish are top notch. Case is gorgeous and well-made.
As for the person who had a problem with Antec power supplies below, how is that a relevant review when this case does not even come with a power supply? Was this review helpful?

Antec has historically made quality cases and power supplies, but I've had two of these power supplies die shortly after the warranty expired, despite having the systems on line-conditioned, clean power. I lost 500GB of data, two expensive harddrives (which were also out of warranty, so no replacements), and Antec wouldn't so much as send me one replacement power supply. I'm feeling generous by only taking two stars off for the troubles that caused me, but be aware. Was this review helpful?

I have built with this case three times now and I truly like it.
It is very well built, big and open and very nice looking. It is not only cool looking it has very good airflow and keeps the temps down too. This case is large so if you are limited for space you may want to consider a different one, but if you have room this is the case to get. Was this review helpful?

Verify how big this is before you buy it. It's a plus for fitting things nicely, but a negative for fitting the case in small spaces.
Antec has good support, and the products are high quality.
Window is a nice plus to show off the inside.
Does not come with much in the way of lights.
Nice connectors on the front, and a temperature control.
Look at the instructions if you're not familiar with building a PC. They are helpful. Was this review helpful?
