4 of 5 A good case, great features, expensive price Tuesday, November 23, 2004 A Customer from Ashland, OR
Got the Antec P-160 from Buy.com and out of the box it has every feature that a computer geek could want: solid construction; sideways drive bays; space for 2x120mm fans; and two temp sensors with long leads so you could place them almost anywhere in the case. One issue with the case was that it came with a broken power button. After paying 105$ for a case you'd hope that the only part that's required to work right was the power button. I only found this out after everything was installed and ready for boot. Frustration doesn't close to describing it :\ I wasn't about to remove everything, put it back in the old case and then wait for who knows how long to get a new case shipped out... The reset button did work tho and thats the new power button. As I listed above, good ease of use, great performance, bad power button.
It gets a overall score of 4 in my book as a result of the power button issue. Hopefully others will have better luck. Was this review helpful?

It's not German engineered, but you'd swear it was. The Antec P160 has so many features that will make your life easier. Anyone who frequently opens their case and enjoys adding or upgrading components will appreciate what Antec has done. Every piece is intuitive and painless - from drives to slots to cables and wiring. Antec also sells many accessories, such as extra stealth drive covers, a window for the side, and fan or PSU upgrades. The case is cool and sleek. Features LED lighting and temperature readouts but all is done modestly, not gaudy and outlandish as is the trend with many modern cases. A sophisticated design inside and out ... you will appreciate your purchase. Was this review helpful?

This case is outstanding compared to previous cases I've used. With a removable motherboard tray, removeable hard drive trays (mounted sideways, btw), 5 1/4 trays, and a 3.5 drive caddy, this case makes it super easy to install a new pc, or transfer an existing pc to a much better case. The entire structure is aluminum, which helps dissipate heat along with the 120mm fan that's standard and the front space for another 120mm fan (also on a removeable tray). With two stealth 5 1/4 drives and a stealth floppy bay, this is a great way to upgrade that beige box. Pick up a Zalman 400w silent power supply to round it out, and admire the shiny goodness of this case. Was this review helpful?
