The cooler works great, but I have to have the plug from the usb plugged in just perfectly into the base, otherwise no power. If you hit the cord/plug or move the base, many times the power goes off. I probably should have returned it, but it didn't happen right away. Was this review helpful?

I just love it!! I've own it for 2,5 years and it works perfectly! My boyfriend bought a Targus one and it doesn't compare to this one. Don't waste your money on other products. This is my 2nd laptop cooler I've bought for my Macbook Pro. (1st one was the Belken and it didn't do much at all!) All Mac laptop users know that the laptops can get extremely hot, even to the point of scalding. This fan gets my laptop down to a very comfortable heat level, one that would be comfortable enough to hold in your lap. However the fan isn't very lap friendly since the bottom is designed to be placed on a flat surface. But it does help the computer running as smoothly as it should without overheating. I've purchased 3 of these now (one for each of us) and have no problems with any of them. While they are thicker than other notebook coolers they are also much better made, are sturdy, and move a lot more air across the bottom of the laptop.
Plus it is the only cooler I have found which has a 3 year warranty which indicates to me that they expect it to be reliable. Watch for it to be on sale or there are frequent rebates available for it making it an even better deal. Was this review helpful?
