Christopher Lloyd reprises the lovable role of Al the Angel from Disney's hit movie Angels in the Outfield. This time out, Al touches down into the lives of two brothers and a footloose football team that doesn't have a prayer! Jesse Harper, the only talented player on his high school football team, quits and loses hope after the sudden death of his father. Things begin to turn around when his younger brother sends a little late night prayer, and soon, Al and his squad of angels show up to tackle the problem. Lloyd and the heavenly host from 1994's remake of "Angels in the Outfield" return to earth to boost the flagging morale of a high school football squad whom gridiron success eludes. The team's star players (teen hunks Gallagher and Lawrence) need extra help dealing with peer pressure and the recent death of their father. Produced for "The Wonderful World of Disney."
