Alfred Hitchcock Theme ~ The AMC Orchestra   Album Notes and Credits Notes & Personnel Info Despite a well-balanced track listing that covers the scary and fun sides of Halloween via pop hits and well-known film and TV themes, AMC Presents: Listen to the Movies Monsterfest is a major disappointment: virtually all of its tracks are re-recorded versions courtesy of a session group called Turn Up the Music. Granted, their versions of songs like "Thriller" and "Ghostbusters" aren't quite as bad as some generic re-recordings, but they're still not nearly as fun as the originals. Instrumentals such as "Tales From the Crypt," "The Munsters Theme," and the medley "Tubular Hell" don't fare quite as badly, but once again, just don't have the presence of the real deals.
