5 of 5 Works Great With Legos Mindstorm NXT and Home Buil Monday, July 27, 2009
Steve-a-Rino from Chicago, IL

Skip the install disc. Just insert into a USB port and let Windows XP install the proper drivers. My son is using this with his Lego Mindstorms NXT set to send programs back and forth. Using the included install disk, the NXT would not pair with the computer. Once I uninstalled the software and let Windows do its thing, everything was ready to go in less than 5 minutes. The response is lighting fast and the pairing was very easy. Great product for $3 bucks after rebate.

5 of 5 Great for price Thursday, June 11, 2009
Patrick from Seattle
There is not much to say here, but great product, easy instalation (plug and play), good range (it is only 2 feet away from my apple aluminum wireless keyboard. Never a problem. For the price, I would recommend this to anyone. PS. I am using this on a HP desktop (2.66ghs quad core) running vista home premium 64 bit.

4 of 5 good hardware, no software Tuesday, May 05, 2009
A Customer from NJ
The adapter itself is good and the price is good, but it comes with only a trial version of the Bluesoleil application software, which is kind of outdated and limited to only a 5M max data tranfer. Not too bad, if you can find other Bluetooth softwares.

5 of 5 Inexpensive and Works Well! Sunday, April 19, 2009
Vinny from NY
This little gadget work right of the package! Vista installed drivers and that was it. Other reviews complained about the software on the disc being the wrong version (Bluesoil). This was true with me also, but the correct version is available via download from their website 9not a big deal). However, you do not even need the s/w as Windows installed all necessary drivers and standard s/w to use it. Now I am playing games with voice chat via Bluetooth headset (same on I use for my cell phone). Also using my bluetooth headset for my VIOP!! I am exchanging files form my bluetooth laptop, using a bluetooth mouse! This device is well work the $10 bucks I paid for it.

3 of 5 Works, but certainly not perfect... Sunday, March 29, 2009
Eddie Dee from Colorado
I bought two of these units so that I could use it for both my smartphone and for my Bluetooth headset. The first problem was that both of the CDs that came with the two adapters were bad. Neither of them would read in either my laptop or my desktop. They were off-center, and therefore completely useless. I then downloaded the drivers from the Aluratek website. That seemed to work. I then plugged the USB adapter into my desktop, but it wouldn't recognize it (Vista 32bit). So I tried rebooting the desktop while I did the installation on the laptop. That seemed to work perfectly (XP Pro 32bit). I paired both the headset and phone with the laptop, and was able to access the phone (transfering a photo to the laptop) and use the headset. After a reboot on the desktop I plugged the adapter in again. This time it recognized it. I them launched the Bluesoleil application and paired my headset with the adapter. Worked like a charm this time around. Then I paired with the smartphone, and again it worked perfectly. So if you don't mind the hassle of downloading drivers from the Internet, and having a small hassle getting it to work with Vista, this is a fair choice. Considering the cost (under $10) I'd say that it's mostly worth it.

5 of 5 Good product Saturday, February 28, 2009
Ravi from MN
Adapter work great, no disturbance when you move between one room to other,u can hear crystal clear sound. Down side is the software which is very out dated, you cant update to latest drivers, The cost is 3-4 times more than the adapter.

5 of 5 Works great. Old drivers Sunday, January 25, 2009
A Customer from Phoenix, AZ
The bluetooth device works great. My only complaint is that the drivers supplied from Bluesoleil are much older than the current version. It does come with a newer driver package, but, it's only a trial for 1 minute. The old software can be downloaded from Aluratek's website. It works just fine on XP SP3. No trouble streaming music to my bluetooth enabled receiver.

TRUGGY from OXNARD, CA
Wow for $5 and free s/h why not??? It works great but the software comes with 5.* version and 6.* is out but both are trailware.. they keep wanting you to purchase full version not ALURATEK, but the software maker. Installation was EASY no hiccups at all. Running on 32-bit VISTA Home Premium, Acer Aspire 5610

4 of 5 Good product so far Sunday, January 04, 2009
Paul from Arlington
Got it for $9, next week it was only $5 but oh well. Worked with my cell phone, just plug and play in Vista and XP. Apparently stops working every once in a while but unplug and put back in and it's back. I'm happy with it for how little I paid

5 of 5 Good bluetooth adapter Saturday, January 03, 2009
Linh from Newcastle WA
Price and delivery are very good. It works well for me on Win Vista and Sony Ericsson TM 506. Vista recongizes the adapter. I didn't install the software that came along with the adapter but used the Sony Ericsson software to transfer file between the phone and the PC. I have not tried with other bluetooth devices.
