Excellent product and the speed with which the product was shipped was amazing, especially since it was the holiday season. It arrived in approx. 1 week, just in time for Christmas. It was purchased from "The Great Guys".

I have had the IM7 for just over a year, and while the sound quality is stellar, the unit has not really held up well considering it has been parked in one spot and not schelpped about. For some reason the unit will not play music when ipod is docked, although ipod turns on and displays list info. I can still use the external audio input to listen to music,but then the ipod is not charging. Very much a hassle. This breakdown is unexpected and disappointing, and Altec Lansing's customer service is not at all helpful. Basically you are on you own after warranty is up, so beware!

I gave the iM7 to my wife for Christmas,we both use it while working out, doing chores around the house, and for parties. It is VERY portable and fills most rooms with great sound.The packaging and accessories are top notch - a well thought out product. The only drawbacks are the remote (its so small that it is easy to lose) and the door mechanism is flimsy.

This is the best sounding and logical ipod docking system!!! It is so loud and has great bass! I just got it today and I am %110 satisfied!!!! It is awsome and I definetly recomend this to everyone!!!!

I demo'd all the players at the big box stores, and I thought this was the best of them all, even better than the Bose! It projects a nice full body with deep base while still sounding crisp. You can adjust both bass & treble output via the remote, but there isn't any kind of display to guide you. The remote only does the basics (volume, skip, bass & treble), so you need to operate your ipod thru the click wheel for menu access. The look & size are a bit bulky, but these are all minor gripes compared to it's sound quality. I did have to bring the first one back due to a problem with the docking station, but the second unit is fine. If you're looking for great sound and can accomodate it's larger size, this is the player for you!

I got these speakers a few weeks ago and they are great! They have great power and the bass is deep! I'm sure I am annoying all the people in my apartment complex with the loud music! Definately a good buy!

The sound dock sounds terrific. The bass is great to and it is very easy to use. I am very glad that I purchased this one. My whole family uses it and we use the ipod in the sound dock more than we do with the headphones. It is great

These speakers give out awesome sound quality. I really recommend them. I love them. And it also have a great base to them too.

I have an iPod Mini and use this with it. I have listened to maybe 30 minutes so far, but the sound is great. The unit really does sound good and has surprisingly good deep bass. The remote works well and up to around 15-20 feet and stores in the back of the unit. Looks very nice in person, very simple design and operation. A little pricy, but great sound and simple to use.

Bass blows out and mids muddy at 75% volume. Otherwise at normal listening levels, it is pretty impressive. Chintsy design of ipod dock area though. The push/click to open and close feature didn't work. Only a piece of foam serves as locking mechanism for the door. Sent it back. But am buying another.

It was easy to set up right out of the box. The sound is unbelievable; much better than I thought it would be. It comes with a remote control but you have to really point at it correctly. Hate the fact that you can't see the treble/bass settings after changing them via remote. I like the fact that this is portable, not that heavy. And you have the option of using either a/c adapter or batteries.

i bought this product and u can't imagine how cool it looks and also with a great sound. even on low volumes the sound quality is awsome. it beats bose anyday.i highly recommend this product.
