The Altec Lansing FX6021 with InConcert technology is a 3-piece system for the music, gaming, or home theater enthusiast. A revolution in pro audio, InConcert technology enables the FX6021 to deliver crisp, clean, full-volume sound that feels like its being directed right at you. InConcert Technology directs the sound straight ahead and to the sides, not up and down. So the sound is pure and clean, uncluttered by reflections from the ceiling or floor. Two ultra-slim satellites feature a total of twelve 1 inch neodymium micro drivers, with each pair of micro drivers powered by its own discrete amplifier. A 6.5 inch ported subwoofer completes the sound with low-frequency, full-throated bass.

    First of all, FedEx and buy.com, what are you thinking delivering something in 3 days that has 2 weeks shipping for an estimate? You trying to make me a loyal customer or something? Second, these speakers are awesome. I listen to my music (not the low-bitrate stuff, but the good stuff) and I hear things I've never heard before. There are nuances in piano music that just got lost until these speakers arived. Wowsers, I may never get up from my computer again.

    These speakers are excellent. I am a professional video editor and work on many music projects. These speakers provide very high quality sound and, in addition to a feed from FinalCutPro, also allow a line feed directly from my Mac's audio output as well as a headphone jack. Buy.com had the best price on line and the speakers were delivered a day early.

    These speakers are better than I expected, even when I turn up the volume. The subwoofer was described as a 6" sub - it's alot bigger than 6 inches, but that's OK.
