The high-energy anthem "Hey World (Remote Control Version)" works as a global call to action as the rowdy guitar line props up Franti's impassioned chants ("You've got to let go of remote control!"). Jamaican soul singer Cherine Anderson stops by for the feel-good duet "Say Hey (I Love You)" while Marie Daulne of Zap Mama appears on the sultry dirge "High Low." Spearhead's debut album, 1994's HOME, crossed over to alternative-rock radio with the song "Hole in the Bucket." The band proved durable, scoring its first Billboard top 40 hit 15 years later with the upbeat " While their albums variously leaned closer to one aspect or another of the band's stylistic blend, Franti's highly political lyrical content remained a constant.
