 Editor's Note
Created by Donald Bellisario (JAG, MAGNUM P.I.), AIRWOLF was among the many action-adventure shows of the 1980s that garnered a cult following. Jan-Michael Vincent stars as the improbably named Stringfellow Hawke, a Vietnam veteran still troubled by the disappearance of his brother during the war. Secret government agent "Archangel" (Alex Cord) approaches Hawke with a unique offer: to help him recover and then become the de facto pilot of the powerful, top-secret helicopter known as Airwolf. With that proposal the series begins chronicling Hawke's adventures, along with his sidekick Dominic (Ernest Borgnine) as pilot of the advanced aircraft. SEASON TWO contains all 22 episodes from the sophomore season.

| | Professional Reviews | Home Theater Info 10 of 10 Few men have made such a positive impact on American television as did Donald P. Bellisario. As a former US Marine his commitment to the military is very evident in his television series. He has a respect for those that have laid down their lives in service to their country and this translated to some of the best television the public has ever had a chance to enjoy. With Airwolf he broke the mold so over used by other series. Bellisario did not pander to the lowest common denominator of the audience; he provided intelligent, well rounded family entertainment. Airwolf worked on many levels, action, loyalty and justice. There was something for almost every taste.
