    3 of 5 Decent price for old technology Tuesday, September 25, 2007

    I had a few old IDE hard drives and a shiny new Apple Airport Extreme. The idea of a quasi NAS drive was good considering I have 3 computers plus an Airport Express for music and an XBOX360 for video streaming. Besides sounding like an F14 jet this little enclosure is nice if you don't need it on all the time. I have yet to get it to play nice as a Airdisk drive. Maybe Airdisk doesn't support Raid 0, but I haven't had the time to fully debug the configurations. Like I said good value if you have some old IDE drives laying around, but with storage prices these days you probably could get a SATA drive with an enclosure for about $75 more.
