 Editor's Note
Based on the cartoons of Charles Addams, this creepy and kooky series from the 1960s features everyone's favorite freaky family. In this collection of 21 classic episodes, patriarch Gomez (John Astin) takes at stab at being mayor, Cousin It goes bald, Pugsley transforms into a chimp (thanks to the efforts of his dear uncle Fester), and Lurch takes the music world by storm. This delightfully dark show appears to be as immortal as its strange characters.

| | Professional Reviews | Ultimate DVD 4 stars out of 5 -- "More creepily comic capers with Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley and butler Lurch..." 08/01/2007 p.131Monsters and Critics 9 of 10 They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, and now they're on DVD. The Addams Family finally creeps onto the silver disc and fans of the show will be happy that this day has finally arrived...The Addams Family is just good, morbid family fun...a great show and I'm glad to be able to watch it (my local stations only ran The Munsters). It has quite a following and the extras on the discs should make them happy. Here's hoping that we can get Gomez to sit down for some commentaries on the next volumes. It is definitely the right thing to get you in the mood for Halloween. - Jeff Swindoll
