    A Customer from Columbus OH  

    I am a VAR and bought this from buy.com to set it up on a new PC for my customer. But all the new PCs that we tried did not detect the controller card during initial boot process. We flashed the BIOS on the controller and PCs, but the results were the same. This card worked on only one PC - several months old PC with ASUS motherboard. I contact Adaptec and they acknowledged the compatibility issue with this particular model. Since Buy.com return policy did not allow me to return this back to them, I asked Adaptec to take it back citing inherent problems with the product. They agreed to take it back. I ended up installing good old 29160 for the customer.
