Do not buy any product from this company that has a rebate. Rebate check was mailed to me after 4 months. I received one check and the other seems to be lost in mail. They claim they are not responsible for any lost rebate checks. The only way they would issue a new check is if the lost mail is sent back to them. Customer service is just horrible. Pros:
Works efficiently without any problems. Reconition time required by computer is minimal. Especially impressive for its price.
Cons:

IF you took adavantage of the rebate, you can hardly go wrong with this flash drive. It is a little slower on the write as compared to some SD cards and readers, however, it does the job. I am statisfied with this unit. There are only two drawbacks that I have noticed. One is that you have to select an icon before removing it from Windows XP. I have a multi-memory reader and I only have to pull the chip out when it is not active. It is a hassle to remember not to just pull it out. The other thing is that it would be nice if the cap would fit nicely on the other end when it is connected to the PC. I know that eventually I will misplace it because I have to set it aside while using the memory.
It is a nice size physically and capacity wise for practical use and the price is right. Was this review helpful?

I just got my flash drive last week and it works pretty consistently. The only questionable part of using it is that when I eject it from a Mac, the little red light stays on. If I eject it from a PC, it turns off to let me know it's OK to remove it.

I needed a super-quick way to move text and photo files between a PC and Mac laptop while covering a trade show so I ordered this USB flash drive. It works like a champ and is very affordable, especially when Buy.com puts it on sale, which was the case when I bought this one. The only thing I can think that could be improved is for them to provide a way to attach the cap (the USB-end cover) to the other end so that you don't risk losing it (it's probably not crucial to have the cap, but it's nice to keep the product intact). I bought this USB memory stick as an upgrade from my previous 256mb model. This one has 512mb and works the same as my other one, although seems a little slower. The physical design is not as efficient because the cap is on the "bottom" of the stick, meaning that if you wear it around your neck, when you use it, you have to take the cap off and put it somehwere you won't lose it - rather than it being attached to your lanyard around your neck. Doesn't come with the lanyard either. It has a loop too attach it to a keyring or lanyard.
