As soon as I installed the monitor I popped in a movie and the crisp quality was outstanding. No problems with it and no dead pixels. Definitely a huge upgrade from my old CRT. I am very satisfied with my purchase. For the price this monitor is a great buy! The only con I can say is I wish it had a height adjustment but it does have a tilt adjust. But I knew this before purchasing and I'm not complaining.

I bought this 6 months ago in February 2009 to replace a small 15 inch Dell LCD. It came up without a hitch and has a great, clear, crisp picture. The PC it is being used on is running Windows Vista. The text and graphics look great. It's definitely a purchase I would make again.

Good value for the money ($99). Nice, clear, crisp display. Only disadvantage: no height/tilt adjustment, so it is lower than my eye level - even after I reduced my seat height to the lowest level. Even my old free eMachines LCD monitor had hight/tilt adjustment.

I just put one of these in service--worst monitor I have ever seen. It has streaks running left-to-right across the screen emanating from every displyed item. It is just horrible! After this, I will never buy anything with the ACER name on it!

I bought two of them and Buy.com stated that shipping time would be 7-9 days. I ordered on Thursday ... received them on Monday. Both monitors were replacing CRT's and I couldn't be happier. Installation was a snap and both fired up needing absolutely no adjustment. They both look great with no dead pixels and graphics color is terrific. A big reason I wanted this style of moniter was to gain some desk space. With the vesa 100 mounting capability I have ordered a desktop monitor arm ($35 on ebay) so once that's installed my monitor will take up no desk space at all. My brother has Acer monitors at work and told me they have been very reliable and have stood the test of time well. I highly recommend this monitor to everyone.

My biggest complaint about this monitor was I thought you couldn't tilt it back. I just tried again before I bashed them in the review and realized it is stiff, but it moves. For the price, it is amazing. You can see the image perfectly from 45 degrees to the side. It's bright. Mine has no dead pixels. The is no DVI interface, and I was concerned because some LCDs show ghosting when you use a VGA cable, but this one does not. I picked this up because I wanted the cheapest monitor I could find for two months, without giving up too much. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and I will keep it around.

It was the price that got me and I was happy with the quality of the monitor. Once you get it adjusted it looks very good. I paid for the 2nd day shipping as I couldn't wait.

Delivery was very fast, although it was via Fedex. Good thing I was home at the time. Easy to hook up. I did expect the screen quality to be a little better. Due to the wide-screen effect, pictures look a little distorted, although I do enjoy the larger text font effect.

Wow, what can I say? For the price I couldn't be happier. Bought 3 of them, when they arrived I had them all set up within half an hour with no problems at all. Much better picture quality then the old CRT's, so much easier on the eyes. Setup was never an issue, running XP on all 3 machines. Great product, thanks. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this monitor to replace a bulky CRT and clear my desk a little. It certainly did the trick and it looks great. Logged on that afternoon to do the streaming Hi-Def video from the Masters, and it was incredible! You gotta love HD! I highly recommend this monitor.

I purchased this monitor to replace and aging and very large CRT. I have had the product for a couple of weeks and I am very pleased with it. The colors are not extremely vibrant but I have not tried to adjust it; it works just fine as is. There are no bells and whistles but again, I just wanted a flat panel monitor to create more room on my desk. I would definitley recommend this product and would buy another one if I needed a second monitor.

This monitor is a great deal. It arroved quickly and connected easily to my computer. I had to work a bit to get the resolution adjusted - I felt this could have been better described in the installation manual, but I finally figured it out. The 3 year warranty is great. The only negatives I can think of is that the overall screen picture appears smaller than my previous monitor, and I wish it had a height adjustment. Other than those things, it works just fine.

The product was (as always) shipped quickly. It was super-simple to set-up. 5 minutes and I was up and running (and most of that time was because of my desk set-up, not the monitor). I did wish that it had multiple inputs, so that I could use it with both my desktop and my laptop. Other than that, I've been happy with it.

The picture looks great and Acer makes rock-solid monitors in my experience. The only downsides are that the height is not adjustable and there is no DVI input. I didn't knock it in the ratings for that because I knew this prior to purchasing it. Also, I ordered it with the 2-day shipping on a Wednesday and it was on my doorstep on THURSDAY. Bought this as a secondary monitor for my Acer Aspire One. Needless to say 1440x900 resolution is supported by the AspireOne. I turned off my mini's screen and have not looked back. I plugged it in to the mini and it was on as soon as I set the control to use an external monitor on the screen. Only turn off for some would be only 1 vga out port. All the mini has besides USB, so it was fine by me.

I've had this monitor for a few months now. Mine works perfectly and is a great replacement for my old 17" CRT. The only negative thing I can say about it thus far is that there is no way to adjust this monitor up and down, so I had to place it on top of something to get the appropriate elevation. I guess I could splurge on an adjustable monitor stand so that my kids and wife could adjust the height, but I'll wait till they complain about it being set for me and not them.

I had never heard of this particular brand before, but I took a chance because it was offered at a good price. It arrived quickly, was well packaged and was easy to install. However, 19" is too wide for my use. The picture isn't perfect, but for the price you'll get used to it. If you're looking for good and cheap, this is it.

For $99 I couldn't resist. It took a while for it to come, it was on back order or something, but when it did, there were no problems. I set it up and my son loves it. He plays WoW and is very pleased.

Excellent black level, excellent response time, VERY few artifacts, and one of the best monitors for handling speedy cross-screen action without trailing, ghosting or fringeing. Excellent photo and graphics viewing on the monitor. It makes it a pleasure to work and play on the new monitor. It is a welcome addition to working with the computer. Its compact size provides more area around the computer making it less cluttered.

I've probably bought 8 or 9 Acer monitors over the past 4 years and found them very decent and reliable items. I've never encountered a bad pixel on any of them and appreciate the 3 year warranty on parts and labor. They are bright, have good contrast and are even tempored. They may not give the the most subtle nuances of color but they do a good job. And for the price they cost they are an excellent choice for my money, at least. I would have preferred to continue to get a non-wide screen variety of monitor as it is still more suitable for watching letter box movies, but have adjusted to the wide screen and find it's quite good for viewing catalogued jpgs or Excel spreadsheets. My trepidation that jpgs would be out of proportion using a widescreen when working with them in Photoshop was wrong and have quickly adjusted to the format.

After I received the Acer monitor and hooking up to my computer, it was like being in a whole new world. The 19 inch screen is great. The color is wonderful. Having this monitor has also freed up a lot of space on my desk. I couldn't have made a better choice for a monitor.

I replaced my old standard monitor with this one as I wanted a bigger screen and something that would free up some desk space. This product has meet all of my expectations, well worth the small price I had to pay for it. Was not expecting to be very impressed with the price being so low but I was surprised. I love this monitor. My traditional monitor was taking up so much space I had to hold the keyboard on my lap. This is very nice looking and I set it up in minutes (I'm not very good at setting up electronics so this was very gratifying). The resolution (if I'm using the right term) is not the absolute greatest- the picture could be clearer, but I'm not that picky about it and therefore perfectly satisfied. You can't beat the value for this product. Would definitely buy another if needed...

I had one of the big bulky monitors and I was really impressed when I took this out of the box, so slim and pretty. It was a a good buy and for a little over a hundred bucks you can't go wrong.
