Good value for the price. Very nice that it comes with both analog and digital cables. You can use the analog now with older systems and change later when the video is upgraded. Very easy to set up and get going. Picture is very good and nice that it has speakers (and this cable is present also). Was this review helpful?

Works well, bright colors, no dead pixels. It sets to maximum resolution (1080 I think) but as my monitor is a little further way and my eyesight fading I mad it bigger (1280 I think) and web pages and other small font are very readable now Was this review helpful?

This is my first large screen LCD monitor and I really like it so far. It has a better screen than my wife's Gateway and the different modes are pretty good quality for what they are configured for.
I had ordered the same model without the speakers but it was on back order. So I ordered this one as I didn't want to wait. The speakers are pretty worthless but I didn't buy it for the speakers.
I am very happy with this monitor and, as usual, with Buy.com's customer service - this is why I keep coming back to Buy.com!!! Was this review helpful?

Got this as a studio monitor and just wanted screen space. Using a MacBook, The color is way different and there isn't a great way to change it. You can mess with your RGB's, Mac's color registers and settings, but even if you are an expert it will be very difficult to get the colors exactly the same. This is not to say that the color sucks... it's just... colored.
What's great is that it has VGA and DVI cables included.
It's cheap (pricewise).
It's huge
For it's price it's really a great deal. (this is after much research and looking on many websites.

I bought two of these for about $180 each. The work like they should and are the cheapest I have found so far. There are only two drawbacks that I've found so far:
1) The speakers are a bit on the crappy side-they're not very loud or clear. I was considering after I realized they needed some help, but that doesn't really work either since they are the front (usually primary) speakers and they would have to be louder. That being said, they're better than nothing, speakers are cheap, and you're buying a monitor, not a sound system.
2) The stand is basically just a piece of plastic connected to the monitor, it does NOT raise or lower the monitor--you will need to but things either under you, the desk, or the monitor. You ARE able to tilt (the motion that causes the top of the monitor to be either closer or farther to you than the bottom of the monitor) the monitor forward or backward. Total tilting capacity is about 15-30 degrees (I didn't measure this I'm guessing). This enough for my needs.Overall this is a great buy, I'd buy another one if I needed it. If the worst things I can say about it is the stand and speakers, I think it's pretty safe. Was this review helpful?

It's a great monitor, but I have a single stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen stuck on bright vibrant green. Unfortunately, a single stuck pixel isn't enough to get it replaced by the warranty.
I tried fixes, and programs and nothing worked. So I just have to deal with it and hope that it goes away on its own. Was this review helpful?
