Very portable and lightweight. Sleek, and I get a lot of compliments on this computer from others. The battery life is fantastic, over 5 hours. Can't complain with 160 GB hard drive either. 1GB RAM and 1.6 ghz gets the job done for internet browsing and Open Office, but don't expect to run any games or resource intensive applications.

I ordered this computer for my wife and it is perfect for her to do everything she needs on it! She brings it everywhere- it easily fits into her purse. She loved the color also! Loved that it supported windows xp rather then vista. Very small- but not too small- keyboard is easy to use even for me. Great company to work with!!

The Aspire is great but Buy.com is the best. The first Aspire I received had a problem and Buy.com replaced it and the new one really works great. Nice doing business with a great company.

I'm no techie - all I wanted was a very small notebook to travel with. I wanted pink, fast, and hard drive space - got all 3. I love the Baby Ace, and have had no problems. Works like a charm. I gave it a 4 for value, b/c they can be had for less than I paid, and 4 for performance b/c it's a little noisy while on (can hear a whirrrr that makes me worry a little). I think the noise is just the price of operation - other than that, it's just exactly what I wanted. Battery life is spectacular.

Bought this for the wife who tired of lugging the 15" laptop with limited battery life. Unit works great and the 3+ hour battery is a great feature. Wireless works great. I just wish she went with the blue so i could use it...

Very easy to bring around. Great laptop. Internet connection seems a lot slower than my other laptops. But overall, it is worth buying.

I love my new Acer! This little thing is great! Portable, easy set-up, couldn't ask for a better computer, and the price was unbeatable! My kids want one now - and it's a perfect size for them! I will recommend this product to everyone I know!

This is a great little 'netbook' and does what it is supposed to do. My wife loves it(it was a Valentines Day gift)! She can check her email, surf the web, carry it all around the house and even into the backyard when she goes out. It's not as fast as a regualr laptop, but then again I am sure it's not meant to be a powerhouse. It does what it was designed to do, and does it very well. The screen is perfectly legible and beautifully clear. It connects to the network without any issues and it can stream videos effortlessly. 160Gb of storage is nothing to scoff at either. Well worth the $$, and Buy.com had it there the Friday before V. Day. Nice work!

I've had a couple of weeks to use it now on a daily basis and am thrilled with the product! It's light weight, I can actually carry it in my purse, fast, no overheating issues, user friendly, the battery lasts more than 5 hours easy, and does just about all that my Desktop can. It's really easy to hook up my external DVD Player and Monitor if need be. The only issue found: I was not able to adjust the Display Settings with 1 Program in order to get full access to all the buttons in the program. This I can certainly live with. Dell sells their version (same specs) of this Netbook for $600.00 +, so the value on this Acer is outstanding.

Bought the Asus EEEPC 701 when it first came out and said, "Okay this is nice". Sold it and bought this Acer Aspire One Pink and "Wow". First thing that stands out is the build quality. Much higher that of the EEEPC. It's been a few weeks and it has yet to get a complaint. I no longer have to scroll up when trying to click the "ok" box on applications due to the better screen resolution. Battery really lasts a good 5+ hours. Extremely satisfied. This unit is the perfect size for streaming video and checking email.

Just received mine a few days ago. Love it, so light and pretty. For being little it pretty quick. No problem surfing the web. My husband was very impressed w/ mine now he wants one. Ordered another one today.

well i got this netbook for my GF and i was really surprised how great it is .. yes the screen is too small and u need to adjust but the machine is great or even more than great paying around 350$ for a net device is really great espcially with the great features and spes. this model give the pink color made it even greater as my GF really loved it well Acer really did great ...

I love my little laptop. I love how long I can perform my work with the battery. I love the way it will fit in my bag so easily to take with me and it picks up WiiFi so easily too. The expansion slot is a great idea and this little laptop only gets warm not HOT like my regular 15.9" laptop. I purchase the PINK laptop to go with my Mary Kay business... my customers love it too! The monitor is very clear but need to find a keyboard and screen protector for it as I don't want to spill anything on it or damage the screen. It is a great price for this product! I have been recommending this little laptop to several of my friends!!

I got this because of it's smaller size. I am amazed the keyboard isn't really any different from my hub's full size laptop. I am a writer so I need something that travels well, is small, efficient and can get online quickly and easily. This does all that and more! My sons don't care for it because of the missing disk drive. I hardly ever need it but have an external if I do. I don't know the actual battery life but I was online for over three hours and it was still green. I have sons in the military and the built-in webcam is a definite bonus. Personally, I'm not a gamer and don't store tons of large files so even the hard drive is plentiful for me! NO complaints at all with this little pink beauty ~ Gitcha One! As to buy.com? I could not be more pleased with customer service, shipping costs and shipping transit times. A+ transaction all the way around!

I bought this for my wife in late Dec. '08. We had an older Toshiba laptop (piece of junk) that kept shutting down due to overheating, which is a known defect but Toshiba wouldn't do ANYTHING to fix their Design problem. Her Desktop was, well always in the bedroom not where she wanted to be. I'm happy to say that the Acer Netbook replaced both of these! She carries this thing around all the time. The battery life is great, very light and the screen is large enough that she can do what she needs to do (mostly browsing the web, checking e-mail and writing up newsletters). I bought a slim USB CD/DVD so she can install what she wants for around $90. Printing is done wirelessly to our HP C6180 network printer. Her Desktop computer is now in the playroom for the kids to use for homework/games. The Toshiba laptop is going to be dismantled (just for fun). The Acer Netbook has replaced *BOTH* of these and we couldn't be happier. ps. I intentionally got her the pink model so I wouldn't be tempted to take it over :)

I gave my daughter the acer netbook for Christams becuase she will be attending medical school and she needed something that was light enough to carry around. She loves it.

I am not sure how well this product would perform if it was your only computer but it appears to be a great option for students. This was bought for my daughter and she has really enjoyed the freedom of the wireless connectivity. She even transferred all her music and pictures from our home PC to her Aspire via the wireless connection. I have used for surfing the web and it worked very good. We purchased the student version of Microsoft office and it was very easy to activate it (it was already installed on the machine).

Wireless connection kept dropping. After looking on the internet for a solution, I was advised to update the drivers for the wireless network adapter. After the upgrade, the netbook ran flawlessly.

I really like this computer and since it is pink (my favorite color)its a added bonus. It's a powerful little thing. I recently brought a Dell netbook from QVC and I had to return it because of the price and memory it came with. The Acer Aspire netbook beats Dell hands down. I enjoy searching the web and doing projects on this computer. It takes time to get use to the keys but this is a great system.

Purchased this as a gift and so far everyhting is going well. The key board takes a little getting used to but as far as performance for a price shopping laptaop I don't think you can beat it. Its a pretty good computer. super cute and tiny but battery does not last as long as i wanted it too. overall I recommend it but buy a 9 cell battery!
