This laptop was chosen because it has an integrated number pad and I spend most of my data entry time entering numbers into databases. Unfortunately the machine was damaged during shipment so I am not sure if the fact the DVD player hung up was due to the blow it had taken. The graphics were great, good response time, much faster than my desktop. and the return process was very easy. I just sent pictures of the damage and a return auth was e-mailed to me. I absolutely love this thing, it is everything I ever wanted and more. Oh, and the technical information listed here on the buy.com web site is wrong....It does have a built in web cam that works great. The blue ray dvd player is awesome too. I love the 17 inch monitor too. I guess I could go on and on....I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested. Was this review helpful?

I was really skeptical about Acer products when I first looked at this machine. I've had my notebook for about 4 months now. Firstly, the machine looks great and operates EXTREMELY well. I have about 40 Gigs of music and movies on it, and about 80 gigs in an external drive. The performance of the notebook has not slowed a bit, even with so many files on it. Secondly, the programs are really easy to use, the mic and built in webcam, make this notebook, for the price... easily the best in it's class. Good lord it's great. The battery life is great. The only drawback is the machine is a bit bulky. It's not a macbook, but, as regular notebooks go, it's great. A+++ Was this review helpful?
